BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am a co-founder of an NFT project called Sublimes. It is an NFT collection created by established digital artist MZK.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire hack bg - Blockchain & DLT Solutions, and what were your goals?

We needed an experienced blockchain and DLT solution to build the smart contract, the web3 connection, and the website (frontend and backend) for the NFT sale. The solution needed to allow flexibility in several variables but also be extremely secure to protect from external attacks.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We found Hack.bg through a referral from a friend. We had an initial call with the company's founder on which we aligned quite well on the model of work, scope, timeline, and also on a values level.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We used Solidity smart contracts for non-fungible tokens on the Ethereum blockchain and the IFPS storage layer for the images. The user experience was delivered through a single-page web3 enabled website.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

The vendon's team for our project consisted of 3 people:

• Team Lead
• Senior Software Developer
• Full-stack Developer

We had direct communication with all of them throughout the project development.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We launched the project in the planned deadline and everything worked perfectly. A team member was available during the critical moments of the launch to ensure everything went smoothly. The contract security was quite strong and the whole minting process on the website performed flawlessly.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

The project management style was very effective and the team quite easy to work with. We synced on a weekly basis and communicated regularly over Discord where they adapted to us (as our team had setup team communication there) and over email.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We had direct communication to all 3 people who were working on the project - each with a defined roles - so that we could easily sync on a regular basis on topics that came up. The most impressive part for us was that they delivered exceptionally high-quality work within the deadline. every time - which is something we had never encountered before with tech teams.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The first time we worked with them they catered to our every need and request which I think created a lot of unnecessary work and stress for them. After discussing this, they adapted in the consequent projects we worked together and communicated more clearly upfront their limitations and availability which pushed us as well to be more specific and to plan better.
