I'm the COO of a cybersecurity consulting company.

We had a need to design a brand new corporate logo and corporate identity, so that our brand is recognizable worldwide, not only in Ukraine.

I've known Yurko for a number of years, was following his works, and consider him a great professional in his area.

We were provided by a brief template to fetch our requirements with a couple of iterations of clarification, which were driven by Gutsulyak Studio. Then they prepared 4 options of the concept out of which we selected the one we liked the most. We also discussed all the elements of the corporate identity that has to be in the brand book, including, for example, stickers on the laptop or styles of the posts on social media. Then we had the deliverables with the possibility to slightly adjust them to our feedback.

We worked with two people - the owners of the studio.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We received the full brand book with all the corporate identity elements. We used them to rebrand our website, social media, presentation templates, etc.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I found it very impressive that they developed not just a graphical design, but a whole philosophical concept behind the graphical elements. Moreover, we had 4 options to choose from, not just one.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I think we have had a tiny misunderstanding about the timeline, however the final result was worth waiting for anyway.

We met them through a referral from people who had worked with them before. We contacted Gutsulyak.Studio with our requirements, and they were glad to take on our project.

We spent roughly $50,000. 

What is the status of the engagement?

We worked together from December 2004–October 2013.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Gutsulyak.Studio’s work was easy to print and had great usability, and they delivered exactly what we wanted. We won a prize in our industry for best bloggers, partly due to their work. Although they’re not cheap, the quality of the production is outstanding. 

Overall, Gutsulyak.Studio was a whole-package experience of high quality. Working with them was the best experience I’ve had with a marketing agency and graphic designers.

How did Gutsulyak.Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

They were excellent at project management. Even though we spoke different languages, communication wasn't a hindrance. The team delivered everything on time, and they were clear and transparent. We had face-to-face meetings and communicated through Messenger and emails. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was most impressed with Gutsulyak.Studio’s transparency. They went beyond my expectations and surprised me with every delivery — their work was outstanding.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't think there was anything they needed to improve.

We had old brand image, which we didn't like cause it was making without interesing creative. So we ordered Gutsulyak.Studio for creating brand image, logobook and brand book

How did you select this vendor?

As advertising is our business so we knew many companies design creators. But we explored one more time this market and most interesting works. As a result of this exploring we didn't make tender and made a decision to work with Gutsulyak.Studio

To start they gave us special brief questionary. So we compose a brief, including description all kinds of brand book and list of brand using and get them. After that we had special pre-production meeting with top managers of our agency, where we discuss about treatments more in details. After that Gutsulyak.Studio gave us timing and cost and we started to work. Parts of brand book they gave us part by part and we commented it for best results.

Advertising placement is not such kind of business where creative and style considered to be important. But our strategy was to propose for clients original decisions for placement and planning. So new brand image helped us to attract attention from clients as company which can create original fresh decicions and we became win in tenders more often, our income grew up approximately in three

Durung the work they strictly observed timing for all positions. They asked us feedback for all step.Communication was cross e-mail. Also they tried to feel and understand not only our marketing ideas but also individual points of view of our top management members, their tastes. We got all works according to the approved timing.

They consider important key points to understand the philosophy of a client and how to utilize it as a brand image.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I think in some cases foe some clients they could to help clients with searching of references and antireferences but its not so important
