What challenge were you trying to address with Guerrilla Productions LLC?

We’ve partnered with Guerrilla Productions on a number of video production projects.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our projects with Guerrilla Productions fall under three main categories: teacher recruitment videos, promotional videos, and videos for our annual national conference. 

The team handles all of the filming for each of those projects. The shoots typically include documentary-style interviews as well as candid action shots. From there, Guerrilla Productions manages editing and post-production. 

What is the team composition?

We usually work with a team of two, though for the conference videos there’s a third person involved as well. We have a central contact who’s onsite for each shoot.

How did you come to work with Guerrilla Productions LLC?

They were a reference from our PR company. 

How much have you invested with them?

The total cost has been around $75,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

The engagement began in March 2018 and is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’ve been very satisfied with Guerrilla Productions’ work, as have the school districts we work with. Our clients have been very complimentary of their work throughout the engagement—I haven’t heard any negative feedback. Though we haven’t tracked particular metrics, the team has completed all requirements we’ve set forth. They deliver what we ask for in a very timely manner, and have been very flexible along the way. Working with Guerrilla Productions has been awesome. 

How did Guerrilla Productions LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

Our project manager has been great. He’s been extremely helpful in the planning processes, supporting and reviewing all of the logistics ahead of time. We’ve also appreciated his creative input before and during the shoots. We ask a lot of Guerrilla Productions, and they always fulfill our deadlines, specifications, and expectations.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Guerrilla Productions is just a great team to work with. When it comes to film shoots, it’s really important to have flexibility, because something can always go wrong. The team is always able to adjust to changes, no matter what they are, and make things happen without skipping a beat.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Our engagement has been great so far. Currently, I know Guerrilla Productions are working to extend their skills past creating video for television and YouTube, and are starting to explore video for social media. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be clear with what you want. The more thinking you can do upfront, the more creativity and expertise Guerrilla Productions can bring to the table. I know they appreciate when clients come well-prepared, so doing so will definitely help to maximize your engagement. You would also benefit from dedicating an internal team to the project.
