BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

Our company is an asset management company that focuses on designing, building and managing outcome-based investment solutions, delivered through multi-asset portfolios and tailored client solutions. I am the Brand Manager at and have worked for Momentum for 6 years.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire GrowCreate?

Our website was fairly new but had been created and was managed by our company in South Africa. They had built it using a very outdated and cumbersome CMS system which in turn made making changes and updates challenging. We hired GrowCreate to create an entirely new website that we could manage ourselves in the UK which would make updating and changing the content much more efficient and increase traffic to the site.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

GrowCreate was recommended to me by a former colleague who has used them. I also like their attitude when at the initial proposal stages, in that the completion of the website was just the beginning of the story and partnership with them.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

We wanted an entirely new site. Our Initial meetings were to discuss the scope of what was needed and how big the site would be. After a couple of design-led meetings, we decided on the theme that would run throughout the site. As we have quite a few different areas of business open to many different types of investors Grow suggested easy ways for users to access specific material for them. They then provided several visuals of the site as it was being built, keeping us in the loop throughout.

They assisted with all the uploading of several documents, (we had lots) and content which was extremely helpful and efficient. The project went very well, following the launch we then asked Grow to integrate another area of the business into the site using their Invessed tool, which has been a great success and something we a looking to use across more of the site in the future.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

In total we worked with 4 people, our Project Manager, initially the CEO, the Creative Director and a lead developer.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The outcome of the project is we now have a site that we are proud to navigate people to. The overall look and feel is much cleaner and easier to navigate, we have also tweaked it a little along the way adding in small but extremely useful tools.

We have had positive feedback from clients regarding the clean layout. We have also upgraded our Harmony Portfolios Section with a more interactive feel which we hope to replicate in other places on the site

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Our Project Manager was really easy to communicate with and gave us updates more or less every day about what stage we were at in the project. We had both meetings in person and over the phone and were able to communicate thoughts through Slack with regards to the design which was very helpful. All aspects of the project were delivered on time.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I love how personable they were, nothing is too much trouble. Our project manager Charlie is amazing has great knowledge of our site and its UMS system, and if he doesn't know he always makes sure one of the developers comes back with a solution if there is one.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There are a few things now the site has been running for a year we would like to change, but this is only after using the site continuously for that time and we realize that these areas need tweaking.
