Please describe your company and your position there.
Vilnius City Public Health Bureau is the municipal government branch responsible for overseeing public health in the Vilnius region, Lithuania. I am the Project Manager at the Vilnius City Public Health Bureau.
For what projects/services did your company hire Green Thyme Consulting?
We hired Green Thyme to build Lithuania’s first intelligent school health monitoring and management system. The legacy process was very manual and made little use of the swathes of data generated by our staff.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Greenthyme was selected via a public tender / pitch process. We interviewed a non-negligible number of vendors from Lithuania and abroad. Green Thyme were the ones who really understood what we were trying to accomplish. The team was keen on delivering tailored results to mirror our needs via a highly collaborative development approach. We felt like a lot of the other vendors offered off-the-shelf solutions, which didn’t meet our requirements.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
The project spans the entire SaaS product development lifecycle, from ideation and user research, to infrastructure deployment, application build, and testing. Green Thyme have played a leading role in the following:
- Requirements capture and documentation, where they helped us structure and clearly define the scope as well as the development roadmap
- User research across multiple user groups
- Process flow build
- Low / high fidelity wireframing as well as validation with relevant users
- AWS infrastructure architecture, build, and automation
- Data architecture and pipeline automation
- Application build
- Insight and report development
- User acceptance testing.
Green Thyme has also been immensely helpful in presenting/pitching the platform to our stakeholders, where/when required.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
3 people: one designer, one designer/ux researcher, and one full stack developer.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
While the project is still in progress, we have already launched parts of the solution to help us manage school and employee data as well as some of the public health planning processes. Our team loves what we're getting so far, and our expectations have been met and exceeded.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Green Thyme do the majority of the project management tasks (Jira, scheduling, etc.), which means the project has not become a distraction for us and we have been able to focus on our core duties. The team have weekly standup calls with Green Thyme, but - more generally - they have been phenomenal in dealing with our queries, normally responding within an hour. We feel that over the past few months they’ve really become an integral part of our team.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
While Green Thyme claim not to have any prior experience within the public health domain, they have shone when contributing content pertinent to this subject matter. Their ideas are generally on par with what one would normally expect of a public health expert. This really helped us arrive at a solution that is best suited for our specific needs.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Nothing to add.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I work in psychology at a mental health charity.
For what projects/services did your company hire Green Thyme Consulting?
We aimed to create a website that would increase the accessibility of mental health content and allow us to reach those in need.
How did you select this vendor?
We chose Green Thyme based on recommendations about the quality of their work.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
Green Thyme ran ideation sessions with the internal team to map out the scope and high-level design ideas. They created low-fidelity wire frames and ran focus groups with users. This data was synthesised into an informative report that allowed us to decide on the direction and strategy for the implementation. High-fidelity wire frames were then created and Green Thyme worked closely with the developer to ensure implementation aligned with the UI/UX vision.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I worked with ta UI/UX designer from Green Thyme.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We're pleased with the deliverables from Green Thyme. So far, the design has received positive feedback from users during initial testing.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Green Thyme were extremely responsive to our queries and met every deadline we agreed.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The UI/UX skills were excellent. Green Thyme combines knowledge of best practices with a tailored, bespoke approach.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
It could have been beneficial to have more insight into what similar sites are doing from a UI/UX perspective, although we never asked for this so its not necessarily Green Thyme's fault.
While the project is still in progress, the company has already launched parts of the solution, allowing them to manage school and employee data easier. Green Thyme Consulting excellently does most of the project management tasks. They have become an integral part of the internal team.
