What challenge were you trying to address with Great Big Video, LLC?

I needed to create video content for one of my end clients.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I initially engaged with Great Big Video, LLC for their explainer videos, where they worked with me to create a two-minute script and animated the client’s value proposition description. Since then, I’ve worked with Great Big Video, LLC on several projects for seven end clients. Great Big Video, LLC manages the entire video process, including scriptwriting, visual content, postproduction, voiceover, and final product. 

Besides the explainer videos, Great Big Video, LLC has also produced voiceover and talking heads videos. We selected the talent, recorded the voices, and sent them to Great Big Video, LLC for them to edit. Great Big Video, LLC also has animated presentations to produce montage videos with music for trade show presentations.

The videos Great Big Video, LLC has produced are often our key asset in our marketing campaigns. We’ve published them on different platforms, including social media, clients’ websites, and trade shows.

I currently have an ongoing project with Great Big Video, LLC, where they’ve produced several explainer videos for an organization that manages software consortia over the past five years. 

What is the team composition?

I usually work with three team members from Great Big Video, LLC, including an account manager, a scriptwriter, and an editor. Rob (Founder) is usually involved as well to make sure the projects are high-quality. 

How did you come to work with Great Big Video, LLC?

I was working with a cybersecurity company that had received their series A investment capital, which included a marketing budget. I was looking for video production companies and chose Great Big Video, LLC because they had the best pricing in relation to the quality of their work samples. I tried them out for one video, and we’ve been working together ever since. 

How much have you invested with them?

My clients have invested a total of around $400,000 with Great Big Video, LLC in over eight years.

What is the status of this engagement?

I started working with Great Big Video, LLC in June 2015, and our partnership is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Great Big Video, LLC’s work is great and eye-catching. They use state-of-the-art video editing software and always deliver high-quality graphics and renders. 

Moreover, the videos produced by Great Big Video, LLC are concise and entertaining. They manage to break down complicated information and explain it with simple animated text and diagrams. During our engagements, it’s uncommon for an end client to make changes to the script or storyboard. 

Overall, Great Big Video, LLC has made me look good with my end clients since I’m the one that recommended them. I’ve introduced Great Big Video, LLC to seven end clients with whom they’ve created strong working relationships, including one client with multiple sub-clients.

How did Great Big Video, LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

Great Big Video, LLC’s communication and project management are great. We use monday.com to collaborate and leave editing notes. We’ve had different projects going on at the same time, and I can always keep track of each project through monday.com.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m most impressed with Great Big Video, LLC’s work quality. Rob is a really good account manager with an amazing eye for video editing. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Great Big Video, LLC has a small team, and they’ve experienced staff rotation since I’ve been working with them. Great Big Video, LLC is an expanding company, and I think they’ll become more stable as they grow, and these issues will sort out.
