GPO technologies is an Estonian engineering company that builds connected products and data-intensive platforms end to end — electronics and PCB, firmware, cloud backend, dashboards and mobile apps, from one team.

We work in three areas.

Connected products (IoT and embedded). Device-to-cloud systems for manufacturers, industrial and energy companies: ESP32 and STM32 firmware, OTA updates, MQTT and LoRaWAN, device management, time-series data, dashboards and companion mobile apps. Delivered platforms include remote heating control, smart-city infrastructure monitoring — street lighting, utility metering, gas detection — and NFC-based device configuration.

Enterprise software. Java and Kotlin backends on Spring Boot, Angular and React front ends, Kafka event streaming, PostgreSQL and ClickHouse, microservices on AWS and Kubernetes. Our engineering leadership has delivered core payment platform work at Wise and led a squad building a real-time market-surveillance platform for regulated trading venues across three production regions.

Edge AI and computer vision. On-device inference with YOLOv8 on Hailo-8 accelerators, optical-flow tracking and GPS-denied navigation — 30 FPS on roughly 100 g of hardware, validated in field trials.

How we work: discovery and architecture first, then delivery in weekly increments with a working demo at the end of each. Our founder and CTO, Petro Gordiievych, reviews architecture and code on every project — previously an engineer on the core payment platform team at Wise, with 15+ years in Java and Kotlin.

Engagement models: dedicated team, fixed scope, or time and materials. We work with device manufacturers, hardware startups, industrial and energy companies, fintech platforms, and product teams that need senior engineers quickly.
