We engage directly with the people who own the outcome: business owners, CEOs and COOs, presidents and general managers, and VPs or Directors of Operations, Supply Chain, and Distribution.

Traditional management consultants are career consultants. GoVia's five Managing Partners are career operators, with more than 130 combined years running distribution centers, supply chains, and the P&Ls attached to them before advising anyone. That changes the work. We do not deliver a theoretical report and leave. Partners embed with client teams, work the problem inside the building, and transfer the knowledge so the organization sustains results independently. The measure of success is a client operating well without us, not a permanent seat at the table.

Most engagements begin with an operational assessment: partners walk the operation, review the data, and produce a scored picture of where it stands and what to fix first, in priority order. From there the work is scoped to the problem. That can be a fixed-scope project with defined deliverables and a completion date, or embedded execution support where a partner works alongside the client team through implementation. No. GoVia does not accept referral fees, commissions, or profit-share arrangements from any software or equipment vendor, and this is firm-wide policy rather than a case-by-case judgment. We are glad to recommend and implement vendor products that genuinely fit a client's operation, and implementation work is normal billable consulting. The line is selling on commission. Holding a paid stake in a recommendation devalues it even when we would have made the same recommendation anyway, so we do not hold one.

Peak does not arrive as one event. It arrives in waves - Back-to-School, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas - and store set dates have moved earlier, which pulls DC arrival dates earlier with them. GoVia partners have run buildings through those seasons.
