GFD Courier opened its doors in 1979 as a small company offering courier service in New York City.  Located at 90 West Street, we were situated just steps from the World Trade Center.  Over the years, our team has grown and the list of services we offer has expanded, all while retaining a steadfast focus on providing our customers with reliable, dependable and courteous service they can count on. Our customers tell us that partnering with GFD is like having their own personal delivery staff, without the cost.  We provide a wide variety of services to meet the needs of all types of businesses, both large and small.  In fact, one customer summed up what our services mean to the operation of their business by equating our name with a verb.  When asked what they meant by that, the response was “when we need something to get there without fail, we say ‘just GFD it’”! Due to the events that occurred in Lower Manhattan on 9/11, we relocated our primary delivery and storage facility to the Brooklyn Navy Yard.  This extensive facility was created to meet our customers’ every need, from storage and warehousing to product fulfillment and pick and pack services.  We now operate two locations in metropolitan NYC – our main storage facility in Brooklyn, as well as a Manhattan location on 5th Avenue.
