Frazer, Ltd. is the leading builder of emergency service vehicles and generator powered custom EMS vehicles. Frazer, Ltd. has been in business since 1956 and is a growing organization with over 190 employees. We specialize in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) vehicles suitable for licensing and use as Mobile Clinics, Mobile Stroke Units, and Ambulances. With existing customers located throughout Texas and around the nation, Frazer, Ltd. prides itself on an unwavering commitment to customer service, an impeccable reputation, and unmatched production quality. OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Garofalo UX?

We are not a Software development company. We have a in-house built system that required the Front End Revamp. We did have a functional Front end built with Javascript and Google AppMaker Widgets. This application was used by our production employees and lacked visual professionalism. Google AppMaker was a new Product and knew that it would take a eager individual to learn the product with us.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goals were to create a front end that was professional with a user experience our production employees would enjoy. This required a responsive design using Javascript and CSS while being accepted by the Google AppMaker Platform.

How did you select this vendor?

We used UpWork to locate vendors. We considered over 13 companies. All professionals in the User Experience industry. I had in depth interviews with all vendors. Learning about their past projects and our goals. We needed a vendor that could match our companies core values. Garofalo UX was chosen due to many factors. Garofalo UX, has straight to the point communication. Offers opinions with past experience examples. Was not afraid to jump into the unknown and conquer. He brought his own passion and destroyed doubt through determination.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

Garofalo learned an entirely new platform. He have never used Google AppMaker before and was a Google AppMaker professional in a matter of a 2 weeks. He created wire frames, were involved in every design brainstorm, development, and implementation. Garofalo was responsible to making sure the user experience was productive and efficient. He was consulted and involved in any issues that were brought up during testing and implementation.

What was the team composition?

The team was of 3. Our System Administrator, Garofalo, and myself. We did have the ability to consult with stake holders and end users at will.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

This application helped production quickly display job instructions. Increasing productivity and efficiency.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We used Monday and click-up to effectively manage this project. Had weekly meetings to discuss improvements and issues.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They're extremely patient and always share their professional opinion. He is not afraid to try new things.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I think with the resources available Garofalo has done an excellent job.
