We're a mobile software company, and I'm head of the gaming department.

For what projects/services did your company hire GAMEPACK?
We have an ongoing relationship with GAMEPACK. They work on one of our live games and all our experimental projects.
What were your goals for this project?
We wanted to execute projects with cost, quality, and speed. We usually only get two of the three, so our expectations weren't too high.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor?
We knew one of their artists from previous contracts. When we heard that he could offer a better price, we jumped at it.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
They develop assets and animations for our live game. We develop briefs with references and send them to GAMEPACK. They create sketches and send them to us for approval. We provide feedback, and they update the sketches.
When everything looks good, we move on to the rendering phase. They send the rendered assets to us for review and we normally provide just one round of feedback. They're incredibly quick to respond and open to all feedback.
What was the team composition?
I work with a project manager, but GAMEPACK has an army of artists and animators.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
We used to produce content in-house, but they've reduced the load on our pipeline. Handing over art production frees up time for us to concentrate on concepts.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
The project manager assigned to me is awesome.

I appreciate their communication, speed, and low cost.

Consistency is their biggest challenge, but their openness to feedback and willingness to fix issues make up for it.

I’m a producer for Immobile Games Ltd. We’re a game studio focused on developing multiplayer mobile games.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire GAMEPACK?
As our team is rather small, we lacked the manpower and time to do UI art for our upcoming title.
What were your goals for this project?
We wanted to determine our general layout and style and implement quality art resources.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor?
I started scouring the internet for possible UI outsourcing partners. I narrowed down a list of 20 vendors to four whom we started negotiations with. GAMEPACK represented the best value for money, and they had the time and resources we needed.

They designed and produced UI art according to our references, concepts, and feedback. We made UI layout maps, and a prioritized a living list shared on a cloud-based spreadsheet solution. At the start of the project, we iterated with GAMEPACK on our desired style until we felt it reflected our ideas. After that, development began. They sent sketches on the work in progress, and if we felt something wasn’t right, we provided feedback. GAMEPACK acted on that feedback until we approved the work.
What was the team composition?
We had a stable point of contact, but I’m not sure of the team behind that. It involved several artists, I believe.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
Their work has helped us reach a state where we can release the project on time.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
They remained true to their estimations and complied with deadlines. They were always there for questions and didn't hesitate to ask if something was unclear. Overall, I was happy with my experience. We mainly communicated using email and shared spreadsheets, and the sketches/final assets were delivered in Google's cloud suite.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The rapid response rate and value for my money were game-changers.
Are there any areas for improvement?
The only such area would be the consistency of quality. I believe there were several artists working on the project because some pieces would need several iterations, with little appreciable change in between, while others were perfect after the first cycle. It would have been better if only one or two dedicated artists worked on the project, but, again, I don't have the information regarding how many artists were involved. Also, I felt we had to point out the same issues on several occasions until they were remedied. All that being said, I'm still happy with their overall quality of work.
