Future Help developed a portfolio iPad app, which involved backend coding and implementation of existing visual assets on the frontend. The team also jailbroke several iPads to allow portfolio use exclusively.

BACKGROUND

Can you briefly describe your company?

We are a creative design and animation firm located in Michigan.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What were your goals going into the project?

For years our firm had used a printed portfolio and CD to show potential clients our work. We felt that this medium limited the impression that our work could have on clients. We wished to develop and iPad application that could display our entire portfolio, both print and animation.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of the project?

Since we are a creative firm, we approached Future Help Designs with the layout and visual designs mostly complete. Future Help Designs was responsible for the backend coding and technical challenges. Future Help Designs jailbroke our iPads to allow people to use the portfolio application only.
