"CGM & Asociados" is an important national company, dedicated to Assets Recovery and Telemarketing. I am in charge of the company's IT department.

For what projects/services did your company hire Fusion IT, and what were your goals?

We have a fairly varied ecosystem of applications to cover the needs of our daily operations. Our problem was that many of those apps were outdated or needed maintenance. Since we did not have an internal development team, we hired Fusion IT with the aim of migrating obsolete systems, maintaining the applications that required it and, if possible, automating processes that we had been doing by hand until now

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Attempts we had made in the past to improve internal systems did not produce the results we hoped for. This is how we contacted Fusion IT, referred by one of our partners. After a series of interviews, we decided to choose them based on their technology stack, experience, and work methodology.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We started with a limited scope project to test and measure the speed with which Fusion IT could deliver value to us. It was a public site to offer it to our end customers as a new communication channel. We were pleasantly surprised by the adaptability and fluidity with which they carried out that first project and we decided to continue working with them. The Fusion IT team designed an API to centralize the operations of the entire ecosystem of applications that we use for our business, defined a work methodology that we adopted in our IT department, trained our internal team in the use of tools and programming languages, they helped us automate overly costly manual processes with a high margin of error. In addition, they defined the stack of technologies that we use in the development of new applications: Angular and .Net in their latest versions.

A Project Manager is our main point of contact throughout the entire process. There are also three Full Stack Developers and a Designer working on the project.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

So far we have managed to improve the contactability of our call center by 40%. A crucial process for defining strategies for the Telemarketing and Asset Recovery teams was automated, which was previously done manually and involved four full-time employees. We continue to automate and improve our manual processes, allowing us to refocus those resources on other tasks. Thanks to the work done by Fusion IT in the design and implementation of a core API, we have a centralized, organized and updated point for all our applications.

We use Azure DevOps across the board for the development process of projects. We have daily, planning and retrospective meetings with the Fusion IT team. We have updated information on the current status and the progress towards meeting set deadlines

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The Fusion IT team quickly joined ours. The service they provide us is extremely professional, focused on quality and usability, and flexible to our needs.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

At a certain point, the number of work hours assigned to the Project Manager was not enough. We notified them of the need to have more hours for this resource and they quickly worked to change it for one with more availability in a fluid and frictionless manner and without affecting the development of our projects.
