Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the co-owner of a home security company. We install burglar alarms, cameras, security devices, and automation devices for homes.

What challenge were you trying to address with Frank J. Kalenda, CPA?

I hired him to provide accounting services. We used a CPA before this that was based in South Carolina when we were traveling, but we wanted to switch to someone local.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Frank (Owner) did our filings, which we were originally an LLC filing as a partnership, but we switched to filing as an S corporation. He also did our Schedule K-1 forms with our personal returns as well. He paired up with a bookkeeping service that he worked closely with.
