Focus Digital Design is a 3D technical animation studio in Lafayette, Louisiana, founded in 2014. We make mechanically accurate 3D animations, photoreal renderings, and interactive 3D product explorers for oil and gas service companies and industrial equipment manufacturers.
Every project is built from your CAD, so what buyers see matches what you build. Our work covers:
- Equipment and product animation: tools, valves, pumps, meters, and skids shown operating as designed
- Downhole and well intervention: cutaways of running, setting, releasing, and retrieving
- Offshore, subsea, and facilities: platforms, vessels, ROV operations, LNG and process plants

Clients use our work to sell equipment, train crews, and stand out at tradeshows. We're a small team: founder Brett Gauthier leads every project and is your contact from quote to delivery, supported by current and recent LSU graduates. Projects are quoted by scope and delivered remotely. Marketing agencies serving energy and industrial brands also bring us in as their 3D team.

Our Story
Focus Digital Design started in 2014 to make complex equipment easy to understand. Founder Brett Gauthier, a UL Lafayette graduate, built the studio around oil and gas and industrial clients. Today a small team, including current and recent LSU graduates, turns engineering CAD into animations that sell equipment, train crews, and draw people into tradeshow booths. The work stays mechanically accurate, and you deal directly with Brett from quote to delivery.
