Flow Guys were engaged to manage the full migration and rebuild of our company website from WordPress to Webflow, with the objective of modernizing the brand presence, improving performance and maintainability, and enhancing lead generation capabilities. The scope encompassed a complete end-to-end web development cycle—from initial planning and system design to implementation, QA, and deployment.

Comprehensive Atomic Design System

Flow Guys designed and implemented a full atomic design system tailored to our brand. This included reusable components structured across atoms, molecules, organisms, templates, and pages.

We’ve worked with FlowGuys for two separate projects and on both occasions collaborating with them has been a pleasure. We provided them detailed designs for our website appearance and functionality and were very satisfied with the end result on both occasions. 

We received a end product that is identical in function and appearance to our design file with detailed guidance on how each custom element can be edited and maintained in the backend. Communication with their team has also been delightful. Their team always responded to our inquiries in a timely manner and in detail. They remain our preferred choice for all future webflow projects.

All work from site launch to date has been managed and delivered efficiently and on time. The development work has always been completed to a high standard, with good responsiveness to feedback and requests for fixes/changes.

We contacted Flow Guys in 2022 to chat to them about Webflow. And how they could help us refresh our website, and help transfer the all content to Webflow from Wordpress. We decided to break it down into two stages. Stage one was focusing 100% on the design. We collaborated in Figma producing designs for each page type and style. 

We were not rushed by Flow Guys, they were great in working with is to perfect what we were after. Once we were very happy, we then moved onto stage two. Stage two was the development of the design in webflow. Again the team at Flowguys were very good in allowing us to provide lots of feedback until we thought we were in a position to upload content from the existing website. 

After this, there was of course a period of QA and snagging which was conducted on both sides, so we could all be confident that the website was ready to go live. Flow Guys have a good grasp on SEO, but were also very happy to by guided by our own SEO team. This meant when we did go live there were no problems.

The biggest thing to come out of the project is now being able to manage and create content better internally. This was a key reason for us to move to Webflow, which Flow Guys managed perfectly for us.

We have a slack channel with the team at Flow Guys. They always reply back within minutes. If we ever need help with anything, often they sort it right away. Can't fault them.

They are true professionals and experts in their field. The project ran so smoothly because they've done this before and it shows. It was so refreshing to hit deadlines and milestones and to not have a vendor make excuses! We even worked through the month of August, which is traditionally a holiday month in Europe, and they still delivered things on time. That and I just genuinely liked Lorraine and her team. She was warm and caring and is so so good at her job.

We came to Flow Guys with the desire to completely rebuild our website. Our old website was outdated, did not speak to our current products/services and was hard to update. For the new website, we wanted to have clear user journeys for all different types of customers, clear CTAs, information from Airtable flow directly to the site and an overall modern look and feel.

Flow Guys built us a wonderful new website to all the specifications that we requested. They also used their extensive design and UX/UI skills to make it better than we even requested. Our new site went live within the agreed upon timeframe.

They really exceeded our expectations, they clearly really cared about the project as much as I did and would come to the table with new ideas on how to approach certain decisions which I really appreciated. Our new website is a big improvement on what we had before - already, lots more potential customers are getting in touch with us, avg time on site is increased, bounce rate is down, we're collecting subscriber email addresses.

For what projects/services did your company hire Flow Guys, and what were your goals?

We approached Flow Guys on very short notice with a tight deadline for a complicated web project as we were previously let down by our original developer. The brief was for a whiskey company's new product launch for a special edition whiskey that had a QR code on the bottle linking to a microsite which we tasked the Flow Guys to build on webflow. The website was entirely animated and also contained a custom interactive map and a password protected area for special buyers to access through a code. Our goal for the project was to create a media-rich storytelling website to showcase the product and the brand through animation and video.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Through linked in we reached out to Matt from the team who responded very quickly and set up a meeting. During the original meeting the guys demonstrated great understanding of our needs and showcased their experience in similar projects. They also offered very flexible service payment options that would fit around our project and. After the first meeting we were confident that they would be able to complete the project within the time frame and clearly had the expertise to satisfy the brief so at the end of the day it was a no-brainer.

We worked with Flow Guys to develop a launch plan for the site that published sections of the site individually to ensure we'd make the product launch deadline however they exceeded this and managed to deliver the entire website ahead of schedule and in time for launch. Along the way I worked in collaboration with the team to provide the digital assets they needed to build each page and they were very clear and frequent in their communications.
