First December Films (also written 1st December Films) is an ad film production house in Andheri West, Mumbai, founded in 2010. It makes TV commercials, brand films and digital campaigns for Indian and global brands and their agencies, and takes each film from first idea to final grade.
The house works as a roster of directors rather than a single in-house voice. It is led by partners Atul Kattukaran (director) and Ganesh Pareek (executive producer and creative director), with directors including Shiv Parameswaran, Ronak Chugh, Shivang Monga, Nitin Menon, Sukriti Tyagi, Ishani Das and Siddharth Sengupta. In 2017 the Cannes Lions Global Creativity Report named Atul Kattukaran one of the ten best TVC directors in the world, the only Indian ever to appear on that list.
Its work has won more than 150 international creative awards, including 10 Cannes Lions. Nike "Make Every Yard Count", made with JWT India, took 7 Cannes Lions, One Show Gold Pencils, D&AD pencils and Clios. "Beauty Tips by Reshma", made with Ogilvy & Mather Mumbai for Make Love Not Scars, won the Cannes Glass Lion for Change, a Gold Lion in Film and a D&AD Impact White Pencil, and was covered by the New York Times, the BBC and the Guardian.
Recent work includes Google Gemini's seven-film India campaign, JioHotstar's T20 World Cup 2026 campaign, ZEE's FIFA World Cup 2026 films, Malaysia Airlines' "Cricket at 30,000 Feet", Star Sports' "Chora Chori" (ABBY Awards 2026 Gold) and Meta's "Cap Ka Suroor" with Himesh Reshammiya (Good Ads Matter Awards 2025 Gold).
Clients include Nike, Google, YouTube, Meta, Myntra, Swiggy, CARS24, Razorpay, Vivo, Maruti Suzuki NEXA, Thums Up, Reebok, KFC, Levi's and Unacademy.

Series are our home ground. We made 14 films for a single Razorpay campaign, seven for Google Gemini in India, and Myntra's celebrity series with Hrithik Roshan, Kiara Advani, Vijay Deverakonda and Dulquer Salmaan. Every film goes from first idea to final grade under one roof.
