Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the owner and Managing Director of Buyers Meeting Point, LLC where I provide independent thought leadership and content services to the technology and service providers serving enterprise procurement and supply chain functions and news coverage and independent advice to practitioners within those functions.

For what projects/services did your company hire Firecat Studio?

The Buyers Meeting Point brand appearance and user experience were sorely outdated and needed a professional update.

My company has grown substantially in the last 10 years, and the appearance of my logo and site had not kept pace with my influence in the market or the rates the market will bear for my services.

What were your goals for this project?

• Update the BMP logo
• Improve the user navigation and reading experience
• Visually justify my current rate program with a professional site look and media kit

Describe the project in detail.

I worked with Susan Price and the Firecat Studio team to rebrand my content-based B2B website. She heled me refresh my logo and brand imagery to give it a modernized, energetic look and feel, ultimately building a brand library that I now draw upon for all of my online activities.

Perhaps the most important input Firecat Studio provided was in how to improve the user experience on my site. They recommended a structure that reflected audience content consumption habits, encouraging longer duration visits and more in-site clicks per visit.

While we were still working on the main rebrand, I was offered the opportunity to host a monthly livestream with a derivative podcast. I rolled all of the brand creation and design work into the Firecat Studio project scope and they absorbed it without missing a beat – creating a secondary brand design that not only coordinates with my main brand, but it also helps sell sponsorships for the livestream.

The media kit that Firecat Studio created has been highly effective, with several new prospective clients mentioning that they selected me to call because the media kit is available on my site.

I never would have thought to create one for myself. I would not hesitate to recommend working with Susan and her team for the combination of creativity, proactive recommendations, and understanding of business development and user experience.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I have received multiple compliments about the overall appearance and experience of Buyers Meeting Point, the Dial P for Procurement livestream graphics have helped sell sponsorships for the program, and several new prospective customers have mentioned that they reached out to me specifically because I have a media kit.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very effective!

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I could have had anyone provide me with input on a logo, UX, branding, etc, but Firecat Studio was able to do it all.

They spent considerable time up front understanding the personas I am trying to reach and making sure that the new appearance and redesign served them them all equally well.
