What challenge were you trying to address with FACTS Computer Software House LLC?

We needed someone to develop a customized ERP software for us because our current software became outdated, and we were facing different challenges. For example, our information was spread over our different divisions, including our shops in different countries, so it was difficult to find information and create reports. Sometimes, we had to pull reports from all of our divisions to merge them into a single report, which was very difficult. It was time to upgrade our ERP software.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

In 2020, we acquired the latest version of FACTS’ .NET-based ERP software, which they’ve been customizing for us. They’ve integrated all of our divisions’ information into it, customizing functionalities for each division.

For example, they’ve helped us configure multi-currency data, integrating our platform with PayPal. With this feature, every shop in every location can see the information in their respective currency and its conversion in our base currency. Among our software functionalities are inventory modules, accounting capabilities, and payroll capabilities, and it generates reports on Power BI.

In addition to our ERP, FACTS has helped us prepare a web platform that can be used through mobile devices, for which we’re already giving credentials to our customers. Customers can open the web platform on their mobile devices  and see our shops’ inventory in real time. Additionally, they can place orders directly to us.

FACTS has also developed a mobile app for our outside sales team. On the app, our teammates can log in and see customers’ orders, as well as their location on Google Maps for delivery. Additionally, it has a WhatsApp integration and a scanning module for documents and invoices.

What is the team composition?

We worked with almost 20 people from FACTS during the .NET ERP implementation, including programmers, system analysts, and a managing director. From those people, 3–4 continue to provide ongoing support.

In 2003, we acquired a SQL-based ERP software from FACTS to replace our previous DAS-based one. When it became outdated, we went again to them.

Thanks to this implementation and the brilliant features FACTS has added to our ERP, our business is now streamlined and efficient. This software piece has brought all of our divisions into one platform, so we’re very happy to have all of our information in one place.

Overall, FACTS is really helpful and professional, and they’ve provided us with everything we were looking for in an ERP. Once we implemented the ERP, we came across new requirements that we didn’t even know we needed before. However, FACTS has been instrumental in customizing their software to meet our requirements.

How did FACTS Computer Software House LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

FACTS is always on time, and they constantly help us with last-minute changes. They’re also creative when making changes to meet our requirements. For project management, they have their own website where we can log in and post any of our issues. We also communicate via emails, phone calls, and WhatsApp.

FACTS is always ready and willing to implement new challenges that we require.

Are there any areas they could improve?

So far, I haven’t come across anything they can’t handle.

Our manufacturing section was facing some issues handling inventory management, production management and sales management, etc. What we were lacking is a software solution so we approached FACTS to make a custom software especially fulfills our needs.

We heard from our client that FactsERP is highly customizable and very less susceptible to changes. So through reference, we approached FACTS. And also the solution was very cost-effective.

They developed a .NET based ERP software for us. Which was solely according to our demand. We specified some modules like bulk inventory module, production module, sales module, financial accounting module, etc. At first they studied our existing system and then started to migrate data. They did the data entry part very successfully. After the approval of the prototype they immediately started working on the project. And achieved each milestones on time. Finally they delivered it on the promised time.

Almost 15 people we worked with during that time. It includes their ERP implementation team, project manager, and managing director. Still, 3 programmers from the support team are providing us with the support.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

So far we were satisfied with the final product. They are able to make every small details we were suggested like in the front end design and also on the backend. After using the software we got to notice that the time we spend on managing each operations was gradually reduced, thanks to FactsERP. Now our every business operations are under a single software solution. FactsERP is very less susceptible to changes, so we were able to make some changes after it is going live and the software didn't exhibit any bugs.

We used microsoft teams for the communication. We communicate throughout the project.

They were able to handle every challenge very quickly. They are very passionate about their work and are knowledgeable.

We were able to go live before the deadline. Data entry ,which was a crucial part, was taken care by FACTS computer software House. They were providing a monthly progress report and was too cooperative. Their user training programs were so perfect, and individual trainings were also provided.

They regularly met the deadlines and the project management style was agile. communication tools used are Teams, Skype, Github etc..

Their customer support and punctuality.
