Please describe your company and your position there.

CEO & founder of Digiplant, a startup offering a complete connected gardening solution. The product is mostly targeting urban gardeners to help them take better care of their precious plants, especially during holidays, when the gardener is on the move. All plants vitals (temp, humidity, soil moisture and more to come) are measured and transmitted to a mobile app via a free cloud service. For what projects/services did your company hire Fachremy Putra, and what were your goals?

Fachremy was recruited for digiplant.com website development, starting with a figma design. The goal was to get a pixel perfect wordpress version of the figma, both in english & french, for desktop and mobile. There were many things to implement, some of them not easy, but Fachremy did an amazing work. The result is really excellent and as a perfectionist (he can testify) i don't say this lightly !

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Simply by quoting various freelancers out there, according to there experience and portfolio. The deciding factors were definitely the abundance of positive feedbacks, the fast and easy communication and the honest price estimation.

The mission was straightforward: transfer the figma design into wordpress. The first step was to get the website and pages architecture, second step was to fill with the content. Tech used: wordpress and elementor pro. + various plugins for mailing (mailchimp), multilanguage, speed optimization and so on.

The result is exactly as wanted. No less.

Communication tools: mails, figma, whatsapp, and zoom.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The communication is always super easy and they quickly understand the requirements. This is a great recipe for a successful online collaboration.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Maybe, there is always room for improvement. We faced delays during some periods, but those were external causes and Remy did his best to minimize the impact on the project.

Our demand has increased and we needed responsable freelancers to help us complete the projects on time.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We searched freelancers online, selected a few based on reviews and portfolio and hired the ones who answered to out RFP promptly and professionally.

We handed to the freelancers a detailed document with the goals and objectives alongside a prototype on Adobe XD. The prototype is a complete, functional design. The developer was asked to develop the prototype on Wordpress or Shopify with the exact same design, proportions and functionalities.

We worked directly with the developer.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The final product was 95% accurate, reducing deliverables time by 1 week.

We had daily follow-up by email and instant messaging. We are currently implementing a project management software to give our collaborators flexibility on their schedule. We work with professionals around the world and is not always possible to have meeting to follow up with little details. So, a management system let's us work kind of 24 hours Mon to Fri.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were accurate, professional, and super fast.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We had issues with following up at first. We designed a SOP and they were very open to it. Learned fast and work started to run smoothly.
