I’m the head of development at Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, a government administration.

What challenge were you trying to address with Fabric Digital?

We needed a company to build the technology to promote and support all of our business goals.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Fabric Digital is developing our e-commerce portal mainly for marketing purposes. I provided them with documentation ahead of time, and our design team shared recommendations of concepts that had to be covered. In turn, Fabric Digital shared the guidelines and standards they need to follow.

The site will guide our customers to shop for the products we’re creating. The goal is to design a site that will be easy to use and clean. The team has added a gateway for online payments. 

Additionally, Fabric Digital has integrated the site with a CRM system to update all of our stock and financial transactions on both systems. They’re also going to integrate a delivery company for shipping that will allow customers to get an estimated delivery time. They’re developing the site to be mobile-friendly, and it will go live after a period of testing.

I work with one main point of contact and the CEO.

Fabric Digital was recommended to us. We chose them because they knew exactly what needed to be implemented.

So far, we’ve spent over $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in November 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Fabric Digital is very committed and good at following steps. They ask questions and their deliverables are good. 

How did Fabric Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve met their deadlines so far, delivering whatever is in the scope. They charge extra for additional changes. As for communication, we use email and WhatsApp.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m impressed by Fabric Digital’s great communication channel. They’re very committed and flexible, and they deliver what they promise.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there’s nothing I’d have them improve. If I have another project in the future, I’ll consider partnering with them again.
