After the assessment by Experience Innovation there was a phenomenal buy-in from the staff directly or indirectly involved in solid waste management which we accredit to the cultural sensitivity that the Experience Innovation staff had in assessing and planning the work.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

The process was very incremental and adaptive to situation. Experience Innovation were very patient when people did not deliver and adjusted their planning accordingly. Despite some setbacks all the outcomes were delivered in a timely manner.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We were pleased with their cultural awareness, flexibility, and time management. Many consultants we hire require a lot of time from us for all the information they require making managing them almost a job in itself. With Experience Innovation we never found this to be the case. They actually took a lot of burden from our shoulders and kept information sessions with management to the strict minimum.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Experience Innovation Consulting could have done differently?

Despite looking critical at the work done by Experience Innovation I cannot find any recommendations in which their assignment could have be done any better. We would hire Experience Innovation back in a heartbeat.

We are a digital marketing company with a focus on social media development and management. My position is operator/lead consultant.

Our business is just starting out, and so we hired Alex Jackson Consulting to assist us with branding and business model development.

How did you select this vendor?

We knew of Alex because of work we'd done with him in past roles, and his knowledge and expertise made it a no brainer to select him as our vendor for this work.

We participated in two workshops via Zoom with the principal consultant. These workshops focused on identifying our business' unique value proposition as well as our customer persona.

We also determined our business' mission and vision statements, and went through incredible detail in completing a business model canvas.

There is also a follow up meeting in about a month and half where we will be able to go over any outstanding items relating to branding, and get further direction if required.

We worked directly with the principal consultant.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our brand has been solidly developed. With the help of our consultant, we better understand our business, our ideal customers, and our value proposition. We know what we need to do in order to move our business forward!

We had two meetings, each a week apart, with a third meeting set for about two months later as a follow-up. The consultant was timely in following up on any action items he said he would, always within 24 hours.

For items requiring action on our end, we would complete them and send to the consultant via email prior to the meetings.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their commitment to working in tandem with us to develop our brand. We always felt included in the process and that our input was valued.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

None that we can think of!

I’m the managing director at Social Studies, an influencer marketing agency. We have different divisions, including a product unit, a research platform, and a direct mail unit.

We needed a company that could help us implement a project management solution to improve the overall process of our company. Our goal was to keep the trains running on time and make sure that everyone was aligned and rowing in the same direction.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We hired Alex Jackson Consulting to conduct corporate training and workshop sessions for Asana. They worked with our executive team, operations team, client services team, and sales team in another division.

Alex Jackson Consulting helped us figure out how we could make our processes easier on those individuals who have numerous responsibilities and are trying to keep their awareness of multiple areas of the business.

Alex Jackson Consulting also led one-on-one sessions with our president, CEO, sales org, head of operations, and me.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve seen a 20% increase in our workflow efficiency. We’ve also managed to drive our internal communication alignment, which allowed us to grow from 12 to 60 people within the past year. Alex Jackson Consulting has also been at the forefront of our strategy of building our internal communication structure through Asana.

How did Alex Jackson Consulting perform from a project management standpoint?

Alex Jackson Consulting has performed incredibly well in terms of project management. We typically communicate through Google Hangouts.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m most impressed with Alex Jackson Consulting’s communication skills. They are highly personable, and they really know what they’re talking about. They make things that seem ominous to me into something that could be very tactical. In a growing organization, having someone with that competence and mindset is extremely valuable.

I also appreciate how quickly they’re able to understand and execute our instructions, which goes a long way and saves us a lot of time. If we could afford to have them in-house, we would.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would be great if they could create materials that could be distributed to their clients. Having a document that details how to use a particular tool moving forward would be a great takeaway item just so we aren’t as reliant on his time.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make sure to have your needs and goals honed in because if you come to them with a clear description of what your problem is, they will 100% figure everything out for you.

1. Document the Business Ecosystem - including relationships and dependencies between business units concerning the it marketing teams to complete and launch campaigns and marketing initiatives, including product launches.

2. Document all processes and relevant Data Flow information executed by the departments and lines of business engaged in campaign development, launch, or measurement. Format and process language options include Flowchart and BPMN 2.0. All documentation will be captured using Lucid Chart.

3. Develop and support the release and adoption of all custom Asana workflows for the departments and lines of business listed in the summary while providing adequate documentation and support to the internal Business Asana Champion to manage the solution moving forward.

4. Facilitate the change management program, training materials development, and training deployment for all team members on the teams listed above with the deployment of Asana.

5. Led the development and integration of Asana and ServiceNow for reporting workload estimates on a team-member basis in direct collaboration with the Business IT Department. Additional metrics to report include project management and campaign status metrics as required by the business.

6. Development and integration of organizational objectives as OKRs in Asana, with all listed business teams receiving integration of appropriate goals for measuring and reporting progress.

7. Development and optimization of reporting dashboards for all respective team members using the Asana platform and migrating the Marketing Initiatives timeline 2.0 to a portfolio-level object within Asana.

Release 2:

Transition Platform Ownership:

1. Conduct a system ownership and way of work workshop with the business leadership.

We were looking to roll out an Email Marketing program for our Canadian Members and needed support to ensure we were complaint with Canadian Privacy Laws.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I did a search for Canadian CRM consultants.

Develop an outreach, education, and demand strategy for Canadian members to use digital and print marketing solutions. Ensure members know their data is theirs and won’t be shared with other members, and will be crossed checked with other agency members. A notification process will be enacted to communicate duplicate entries to members appropriately.
