I’m the broker and owner of Carriage House Realty by Nick, a residential real estate company. We have two offices in Greenville, South Carolina, and Rochester, New York.

What challenge were you trying to address with Excel on the Web?

We wanted to set our web presence and make it stand out from the competition.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Excel on the Web has designed and developed our website. They initially helped us to figure out where we wanted to go with the design. Essentially, we just wanted it to have a personal touch and make users feel like they’re shopping in the city while looking at houses on the site. They’ve added features that not many people would’ve thought of.

We work directly with one person.

How did you come to work with Excel on the Web?

It was a referral.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $2,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in February 2022, and it’s an ongoing partnership.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve gotten a lot of compliments on the design. Everyone seems to like it; we haven’t got negative feedback. The site has a better UX, and it’s more user-friendly. Overall, Excel on the Web has done a great job understanding what we needed to do to make our website stand out. They’ve done a great job.

How did Excel on the Web perform from a project management standpoint?

They meet the deadlines and stay on budget. They’ve done a great job keeping me engaged in the project. As a business owner, it’s easy to get distracted.

We mainly communicate via phone and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

One of their strengths is their personal approach. If we need to talk to somebody on the phone, it’s easy to do. They’re always willing to communicate or go in the easiest direction for us, which is great for me as a busy business owner.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I don’t think there’s anything. I can’t imagine how they could’ve done a better job.

The ease to work with. We are not very tech-savvy so it’s intimidating but Chris & is team made very easy.
