What challenge were you trying to address with Encourage Infotech?

We were trying to do a mix of web scraping and tracking for third-party website activity.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Encourage Infotech’s deliverable was to set up our own internal website, with a unique username and password, so we can look at the custom-made dashboards that record and display the number of people on the website daily.

What that enables us to do overtime is look at how the traffic, usage, and visits are changing and how they compare to each other. Basically, they’re doing a multi-part project of building our own website and recording data from third-party sites.

In addition, they also enabled us to download the information from the dashboard, and export it into an Excel file. I wanted the information to be recorded at specific intervals, so I needed data captured twice every hour and the data averaged should represent that hour.

I also wanted the gathered data to be summarized, totaled, and compiled every hour of the day — with the second output being a graphed representation that can be manipulated with a toggle of 90 days or 360 days.

What is the team composition?

I only talk with one person, Nikhil (Founder), and I don’t know exactly who he works with.

How did you come to work with Encourage Infotech?

I found them on Upwork where I put up the project and received multiple responses. I talked to everyone and Encourage Infotech seemed like they knew what they were doing, as they’d done something similar in the past. I used them for small projects and extended them for multiple new projects.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent somewhere between $25,000–$50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our partnership started in May 2020, and it’s still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I’ve been more than happy with the work that they’ve done, so much so that I’ve used them across multiple projects at this point. 

How did Encourage Infotech perform from a project management standpoint?

I’m quite satisfied with their performance, and we mostly use Upwork chat to communicate.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m impressed by how they’re always willing to follow up, and they’re responsive to additional needs.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s always something to improve. Every now and then you have to check on what the product is, and make sure it’s representing what you want — but I think that’s typical of any project.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

My advice is to maintain a regular dialog, and be clear about the output of what you want.

I am the manager of the business name Gritmart Esports STA which provided services tournament for online gamers.

We wanted to develop a useful platform for the gaming communities; to connect with them and be able to provide solution in terms of creating or organizing events and tournaments in online games.

I found them in upwork. They've showed their sample designs and the initiatives in making it possible.

A lot are going on the project, so much changes in understanding the process and it's functionality. Glady, the exchanging of ideas work to fix and get the desired design and it's functionality process.

A project manager is present on the meeting schedule, reviewing all the work and getting the information to meet the desired functionalities.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We have not launch our website and app yet, we cannot sure if things will work as we picture out in a good way. Updates on this will be on the following months after it release to our gamer users.

The project was proposed in upwork and the added details was made in documentation and then meeting takes place after they've reviewed it.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They have unique views on every sketch and functionality process. The simplicity of the system pages are well made. They've meet my desired design making it manageable to every young and old people.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Yes! part in responding the documentation of fixing bugs and the changes. They should have a clear updates documentation to ease the time of fixing.
