I’m an IT manager of an industrial gas company.

What challenge were you trying to address with EMMSA?

We’ve been working with them for years. They support us with everything related to Microsoft platforms.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The scope has changed over time. We’ve had multiple developments, integrations, and module development.

We’re based mainly on .Net, Microsoft, Dataware, and we’re currently working on mobile application development projects.

What is the team composition?

We work with three people from their team.

How did you come to work with EMMSA?

When I started working for the company, they had already been hired as a service provider, so I don’t know how the hiring process was.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working with them for more than 25 years, and it’s an ongoing collaboration.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Their work has been a great support for the company, leading to great results, which is why we’ve continued having them as strategic partners for so long. They have great knowledge and always provide us with very precise advice, even if that includes services not included in our contract.

How did EMMSA perform from a project management standpoint?

They have a very solid project management methodology. They’re very professional and take the organization and scheduling of the projects very seriously. They’re also very proactive and consistent in everything related to deliveries.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They support and help the company be successful by recommending the best choice of technologies for any given project. They always go beyond what is established in the contract to ensure success.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could increase their product portfolio to include new technologies.

I’m an operations finance manager at Siemens Energy.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with EMMSA?

We manage the personnel that provides maintenance services to our different locations within the operations area. We also measure the productivity levels by tracking the offices they visit and the hours they work through an internal platform.

As it's a very basic platform, it wasn’t able to handle the usage and workload increment, so we decided to do an upgrade.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

EMMSA changed our whole platform's structure. They worked to make it faster and easier to use, focusing how to make it more efficient when uploading information into the cloud. They currently continue providing support services.

What is the team composition?

We worked directly with five people, but I know there were more people involved.

How did you come to work with EMMSA?

Our previous platform was developed and hosted in Argentina, so we needed to find someone who had access to a similar time zone and was fluent in Spanish. We asked our partner office in Argentina and they referred us to EMMSA. 

We decided to hire them because their team met all the requirements we were looking for. In addition, EMMSA had worked with other Siemens offices in Latin America, including Colombia, Mexico, and Peru. It was a key point that made us realize that they were the right choice. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with EMMSA in March 2020 and the main tool was ready in December 2020. We have more projects coming, so it will be an ongoing collaboration.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

EMMSA was able to provide the improvements we were looking for in the platform, such as speed and structure. It was a complex project but they managed to achieve great and high-quality results in less time than we expected.

How did EMMSA perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicated mainly through email or Microsoft Teams. Their communication was very fluid, and they had a great response time. They were also excellent at finding solutions for any issue that came up.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The way EMMSA communicated impressed me. The team was transparent and they were the key to the success of the project.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I was very happy with EMMSA’s work, so I can't think of anything for them to improve.
