I'm an executive at Moov Parcel, a parcel delivery services company for SMEs.

What challenge were you trying to address with EFutures?

We needed support to build a new order management system from the ground up.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

EFutures has built a front- and backend system for our customers to book parcels and manage their orders and post-purchase information. On the backend, the system can create a new customer, add all relevant data automatically via API calls, and allow us to manage service delivery to our clients. On the frontend, the system can connect sales channels and marketplaces and book parcels and track deliveries.

What is the team composition?

We've worked with four teammates from EFutures.

How did you come to work with EFutures?

We found them through a Google search. They seemed to understand my requirements the best and made me feel like they really wanted the business.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in February 2023, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

EFutures has delivered work that meets our expectations the first time. Moreover, we've won an award for the most innovative logistics platform, which has made us know we're onto something special.

How did EFutures perform from a project management standpoint?

EFutures's project management is excellent; they've delivered on time. We communicate via WhatsApp.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Our project manager from EFutures is part of our family now.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We've had a lot of changes in EFutures's staff at the beginning of the project, which was frustrating. However, we have a settled team now.

I'm the CTO of Kids Brand Store, an e-commerce store for teens.

We were looking to expand our team in a cost-effective way.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

EFutures has created a storefront for our internal ordering system. The project has grown to include migrating a few functions from a legacy system to a new platform. The team has delivered a fully functional storefront for our internal order system. EFutures is now part of our extended development team and doesn't work exclusively on specific projects.

One of the functions we've migrated is a system for influencers to apply to work with us and handle communication and approval.

What is the team composition?

We've worked with two teammates from EFutures.

How did you come to work with EFutures?

We found EFutures through a referral. The team had a compelling offer and a wide range of expertise available.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with EFutures in November 2023, and the project ended on May 2024.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

EFutures has delivered a functional platform on time. We've needed a few tweaks after the launch to ensure everything runs smoothly. Overall, the platform has been running smoothly.

How did EFutures perform from a project management standpoint?

We handle much of the project management ourselves since EFutures has integrated within our existing team. We communicate via Slack and video conferences.

What did you find most impressive about them?

EFutures is easy to work with, flexible, and eager to fill our needs.
