I’m the COO of a hotel management company. We set up four years ago; we work across three, four, and five-star super luxury hotels across India and Asia.

What challenge were you trying to address with Edibbee?

We needed help with website development services.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Edibbee developed two websites for us: a corporate site and an operational hotel site. Initially, we shared our design tone, design language, and corporate identity with them. Then, they did some research on our competitor. In the brief, we instructed them to structure the corporate website so the key information was easily accessible and navigation was smooth. We also made sure that the UX/UI for the guest was seamless and didn’t require more than three clicks to confirm a reservation.

They used HTML coding. Additionally, they did SEO and website maintenance for six months.

What is the team composition?

We worked with 5–6 people, and the owner was our main point of contact.

How did you come to work with Edibbee?

Our IT advisor consultant brought them on board. Edibbee was the second most expensive vendor, but they came up with a better presentation.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around $40,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started the engagement around April 2018 and ended it when COVID-19 set in, in January 2020.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Everybody who accessed our website was delighted by its design. Edibbee grasped the trends and upcoming new technology. Also, they were willing to go through iterations, come back with suggestions, and work quickly on them.

How did Edibbee perform from a project management standpoint?

They were on time at least 90% of the time. Other times, there were miscommunications, probably caused by my colleagues when they articulated their needs.

We mainly communicated by email, Zoom, and in-person meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They provided value for money. Moreover, their ability to listen to us and translate our needs into the final product was outstanding.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They should be more direct in terms of communication.

Any advice for potential customers?

Be very clear on your vision and give them references.
