2014 saw the birth of the first edition of Congretur "The tourism congress of Ecuador", called at that time the congress of tourism planning and conservation of natural resources, which brought together 700 people from all over the country, seeing in it the different cultures, organizations, academic levels and impacted by the fact that Latacunga was its headquarters and all of Ecuador turned to this destination because of a CONGRESS, 3 days full of knowledge, professional relationships between the participants, activation of hotels, restaurants in itself a whole chain of value activated and started, from that moment on.
