Please describe your company and your position there.

Sa Sa is a beauty retailer originally from Hong Kong and I'm working as an assistant marketing manager.

For what projects/services did your company hire Echopunya Studio?

We are looking to build a brand image of the one-stop center for beauty at Sa Sa. Knowing that influencer marketing is mandatory now for a beauty company, the reason why we hired Echopunya Studio was to find and engage the top beauty KOL in Malaysia with a given budget.

What were your goals for this project?

To increase sales for the makeup category and knowing Raya is a big season for Malaysia, we engaged Echopunya Studio during the Raya period.

How did you select Echopunya Studio?

I've contacted several agencies to give a proposal and Echopunya Studio came out with a great selection of KOL and the best price. Knowing their good relationship with KOL, thus we believe that they will deliver this project.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

After we selected a vendor, a meeting was held to brief the agency on the objective of the project and what we need them to deliver. After that, the agency will come back with KOL suggestion and cost price together with the schedule.

What was the team composition?

I've worked closely with the principal of the firm and they have been easy to work closely with internal creative.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

During the campaign period, makeup sales have increased by 30% even during the COVID-19 pandemic that hit Malaysia. More search for our exclusive brand and we can use the material for our social media

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Great, even with the COVID-19 pandemic and semi-lockdown, the agency can deliver the project without delay.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was impressed with relationship between agency and KOL and they give us the best price. They really know about the industry and which KOL we should go to get the best result.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Timing can be better but we understand that the other factor like managing KOL schedule to fit our project but at the end we satisfied with the delivery of the project.
