We mainly work with 2 people. One of them is the senior accountant, being our main point of contact and the other one who supports other tasks.

They set the system in Zoho so fast without us even feeling. Whenever we ask any questions, we get the reply in 15 minutes in most cases.

The onboarding process was very smooth. We had one kick off meeting during which we agreed on the principles. We usually communicate by email, whatsapp or phone.

There were two engagements, business plan and accounting and bookkeeping. For business plan the service was great and gave us complete overview of our goals and business. They finished the business plan in 2 week with all the data we needed Accounting and bookkeeping is ongoing project we are working with them as I write. They are very active on monthly bookkeeping reports and identify any issues and report them to management proactively. They have helped us to create policies for our business, which was necessary for me as being non accountant. Ebs is using Zoho Books as recommended by them, we are happy with the software.

I am the co-founder and managing partner of Ymakan FZ LLC. We have a rather unique and complex company when it comes to accounting. There are two pillars of our business both with multiple payment structures and commissions built in to each that are all different, along with multiple currencies used. We were growing fast and realised we needed a simpler internal systems that was not manual, we needed a company that could advised on the UAE VAT and legal entities and handle our diverse pool of clients, suppliers, currencies. Also that were available for advice and to spot any mistakes we made.

We loved the fact that they took the time to understand each part of our business and were genuinely keen and interested to grow with us. They were happy to be part of our team. They had a nice spirit, down to earth but professional, with some good ideas to help us improve and direct us. Never too busy to answer a question or jump on a call or meeting to discuss our queries. Very knowledgeable and we learned a lot, in the beginning, to help us protect our company, our clients and prepare for growth.

They went away with all of our information and came back with a fantastic system to help us convert over to digitalizing everything. The system didn't display all of the parts we needed for our divisional splits and customer/vendor splits and they took the time and a lot of work to create these for us, so it worked and we looked professional.

They took care of the whole transition from manual to digitalization. We have a dedicated person who checks and pays attention to all of our customer and vendor accounts on a weekly basis. Nothing is ever too much for them! They have trained us on the system and are always coming up with different reporting structures that may help us. They spot mistakes quickly from our side. We can pull up a report at the touch of a button.

Their billing structure and cost are extremely fair considering the amount they have bought to our company as it's grown over the last few years. It's definitely not easy to find the right accounting firm for a fair price, especially for an SME that is growing fast but not quite there yet!

They also showed immense support during the Covid period where we lost 90% of our revenue. They continued to work throughout with no payment until we got back on our feet and could make the payments to them. Just wonderful innovative minds and immense support. They really do feel like part of our team.

We have 1 dedicated accountant who knows our books inside out and works on them on a weekly basis. Communicates with our clients and updates our figures. They always advise us on our VAT returns well in time. They recently pushed for reconciliation on our VAT during the Covid months to which they won a considerable amount of money back for us, which really helped us get back on our feet.

The accounting system they recommended, set up, and manage for us has been a godsend. We wouldn't have been able to grow so seamlessly without it. They are always happy to try and convert it to match our companies needs. Our revenues since we started working with the EBS team 3 years ago have seen an 864% growth rate and they have taken on and dealt with the increased workload with no problem.

We are super impressed with their manner, quality of experienced staff, always trying to find a way to find a solution to make our lives easier. Everything is always on time. They are humble and down to earth but not afraid to challenge us when we 'think' we know or don't understand. They very patiently try different ways to communicate their point or help us see the importance of what they are trying to advise. Both owners of Ymakan are strong characters, so we need a strong team to be behind us.

No. We are very happy with them and I would recommend them to both large companies and SME's. Definitely a must for SMEs, it's very hard to find a good fair priced company to help you whilst you are growing and building funds. Internationally they have dealt with everything perfectly too.

EBS has very good processes. They don’t miss the deadlines, and they follow a very good system. Additionally, they explain everything to us, including what will happen next and what we can expect as a client.

If we have a deadline to meet, they inform us at the start of the month and keep reminding us about it, even though it’s not their responsibility. They’re always following up to make sure we meet deadlines — I really value that.

We communicate online, which works well, and we haven’t had any communication issues. They visit us when needed, but they tend to keep our interaction over email or WhatsApp.

I like EBS’ constant follow-ups. In addition, they offered us an accounting piece of software — it was a part of their package. Thanks to this software, I can see what’s going on, even if I’m not in the office.
