E2E Education Ltd

E2E Education is a UK data protection consultancy that works exclusively with the education sector. It acts as the named Data Protection Officer for schools, colleges, multi-academy trusts and specialist settings, taking on the statutory role and the day-to-day work that comes with it.

The company supports settings across every phase of education, from early years and primary through secondary, special educational needs, further and higher education, and trusts running several schools. Each of these carries different obligations — from pupils old enough to make their own subject access requests in secondary schools, to EHC plans and multi-agency data sharing in specialist settings, to consistent practice across every school in a trust — and the service is shaped around them.

Its work covers the full range of data protection responsibilities: acting as DPO, handling subject access requests from collation through redaction to the final response, supporting settings through data breaches and the 72-hour reporting threshold, conducting GDPR audits and data protection impact assessments, and writing policies and privacy notices that reflect how each setting actually operates. An emergency support service picks up urgent cases, including overdue requests and serious incidents, for organisations that are not existing clients.

E2E Education also delivers data protection training, from sessions for individual settings to live virtual training open to anyone working in education.

The company's approach is practical and plain-spoken: answering questions in language non-specialists can act on, doing the work rather than describing it, and treating every question as a reasonable one to ask. It holds Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certification, and its team includes IAPP Certified Information Privacy Managers.
