I’m the owner of a women’s clothing e-commerce store.

What challenge were you trying to address with Dot Digital?

I needed to photograph the products I sell on my site.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Dot Digital does product and other corporate photography for me. They also do casting calls for models in case we need them. After we schedule a shoot, I bring my clothes to the set so I can use those pics on my site and social media — we do on-set and lifestyle location shootings using their professional equipment.

What is the team composition?

We only work with Lindsay (Owner).

How did you come to work with Dot Digital?

They were referred to me by one of my models.

How much have you invested in them?

We’ve spent around $10,000 with them so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in June 2020, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I like the photos they take because they’re great photographers — they have the skills to model properly the items I bring to them.

How did Dot Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

They meet deadlines and stay on budget. In terms of tools, we use Dropbox, texts, phone calls, and emails — they’re very responsive.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I like that they’re a women-owned company — that’s a plus. Also, I think they’re very efficient and organized in processing everything.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t mean this as a criticism, but their studio is in Downtown Los Angeles, making it a bit challenging to get there.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

The more organized you are, the better. Also, articulate what you’re looking for, and they'll deliver it. They can help you determine your blind spots, but knowing what you want is key to the project's success.
