I’m the founder, lead UX researcher, and designer at a development and design firm. We’re a small team that builds applications and websites.

What challenge were you trying to address with Dollphin?

We were in the process of building a new application. We needed help with the business model canvas and the viable position canvas to validate our idea.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We started with a business model canvas. We mapped out our idea and the specific parts of the business model canvas, revenue areas, and the viable position. They’ve helped us with the actual business model, which has been the first part of our cooperation.

What is the team composition?

Currently, we work with the founder. Another person facilitated the workshops and helped with the canvas.

How did you come to work with Dollphin?

About 20 years ago, I was a colleague of Lina (Founder) at an advertising agency. When we moved on in our careers, we lost track of each other, but I recently saw a post from Dollphin on LinkedIn. After getting back in touch, I addressed the specific needs we had, and that was how we met again.

How much have you invested with them?

We’re expecting to spend between €15,000–€20,000 (approximately $17,800–$24,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing engagement started at the end of September 2020.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It’s very crucial for us to validate the initial activity we have within the market. We’re trying to validate our idea on the canvas. The next steps will be for Dollphin to do some additional research for us and have interviews.

How did Dollphin perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate remotely. We have a Slack channel where we can communicate directly with them. We also use Notion for some project management issues.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re extremely professional. They have about 20 years of prior experience, and that quickly built the credibility we needed to address our problems. They have the ability to quickly understand our needs and adapt to that as well as provide solutions.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of any improvements at the moment. We’re quite pleased with how the cooperation has been going.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

We think it was crucial, and it was something that we enjoyed, but the first step with Dollphin was the stakeholder’s workshop where we collaborated together in order to give the brief to Dollphin.

It was a collaborative process that all brought everyone in line with what we needed, ourselves included, because Dollphin was able to help us establish a better vision and the goal of our project. I would strongly suggest having a workshop as it was eye-opening for us.

Dollphin was appointed to develop a Training Website for B2B Clients (Pharmacists, Pharmacy Assistants etc). The website includes learning paths with on-demand lessons regarding our Dermatological Products. At the same time, the website includes more social elements that facilitate interaction between members and the creation of a community. Dollphin employed Customer Experience research and principles in order to make their proposal.

Increase on all website traffic and engagement metrics (time on site, participation in lessons, social interaction within platform)

Dollphin is a Strategic Consultant. They aim to thoroughly understand business needs and come back with the best proposals to answer to them. They are thorough and transparent on their feedback, and proposals, costs etc are provided with a rational. They are punctual and professionals.
