BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I am the founder and CEO of EcoByTech, a startup digital marketing vendor for small businesses.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with DoIT Software?

We needed a near-field communication (NFC) software to advance digital receipts. Our goal was to take these receipts and digitize them for small to medium businesses to give insight into their sales and customer profiles.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

DoIT Software created an NFC system for our business. First, their team built a prototype of our concept. Their team developed a Sniffer and Parser software to move digital transactions through the channels to a consumer’s phone.

They’ve been helping us with other projects, including digital signage and menu boards. Once these projects are completed, they’ll continue developing our software.

What is the team composition?

We worked with five members of the DoIT Software team, including Leszek (CEO, DoIT Software), Celina (COO, DoIT Software), and Marcin (CTO, DoIT Software).   

How did you come to work with DoIT Software?

I’ve had experience with DoIT Software before. Knowing them and their work gave me the confidence to go with them over other vendors.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing engagement with DoIT Software began in May 2019.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

They knocked the concept out of the park. Our prototype came in 80% under budget and we were able to accomplish everything we needed there in a cost-effective manner. We are very satisfied with DoIT Software’s work.

How did DoIT Software perform from a project management standpoint?

DoIT Software’s team are experts in utilizing Scrum methodology. Weekly, I would receive an update and their plan for the next week, including workload and timeline estimations. They were always on target.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The DoIT Software team understands our project. They are as passionate about it as we are. Leszek is involved in the process and is willing to tell me the truth. He’s a partner, not just someone who’s looking to bill us. 

They’re very knowledgable about the odds and are strategic about how their work is being placed in the market. DoIT Software is responsive and responsible.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Outside of the time zone difference, which is something they can’t control, I can’t think of anything they could improve.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Trust them. It can be difficult to trust a new company, but DoIT Software will tell you the truth. Deciding to trust them is the best decision I’ve made so far.
