Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

We are building a new, global, two sided market venture. We'd worked with several web agencies and software developers to build out components of the offering and found them all similar. The overhead in explaining the business requirements to them was very high as they only worked from a detailed brief to define their inputs. They were like waiters in a restuaurant. None attempted to understand what we were doing and suggest better ways to do that or short cut to an output. 

Docile Worm had the same brief and quickly understood what we were trying to achieve, not what our restaurant order was. They built out a website (a much better and fater one), they automated all the inputs whereas before we were hiring data entry people and they delivered an ecommerce capability a year ahead of when we thought we'd get there.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We are a year ahead of plan. We are earning more revenue, earlier than we thought we might because of the position they've got us to. We are far faster on a daily basis for key tasks and multiple pieces that becfore were cosstly because we had to hire data entry and UX, UI people has been automated.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are not order takers like all the other digital agencies we've worked with who are like waiters in a restaurant. Docile Worm is like a chef - they ask what you're trying to achive and build a recipe (you don't have to be involved) to get you there. We don't want to buy tech (like you would from a waiter) - we wanted to buy business solutions, which is what Docile Worm deliver.
