I’m the director of VOX Furniture UAE. We’re an online shop for residential furniture. As a brand from Poland, we import from Poland to the UAE.

What challenge were you trying to address with Digitally Brand Marketing Management?

We needed help with digital marketing and consultancy.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Digitally Brand Marketing Management helped us with digital marketing, social media advertising, Google Ads, and a couple of other marketing exercises like PR and events.

We were engaged with them on a monthly contractual basis. Each month, they were responsible for social media posts and ads. We were active on Facebook and Instagram, so we had ads running on both platforms. They also promoted our brand and managed ads on Google, as well as provided us with consultation in broad marketing terms. They helped us participate in different events and roll out some PR articles.

Initially, we provided them with the brand guidelines to follow on how our ads were supposed to appear on social media, Google Ads, and the website. We also gave them a complete understanding of the brand architecture: our mission, position in the market, competition, customers, customer persona, and brand message. Additionally, we worked with them on different promotional campaigns throughout the year, such as the back-to-school, Dubai shopping festival, Ramadan, and Eid promotions.

As a well-established brand, we already had content. We used furniture, brand, and inspiration shots globally, but Digital Brand Marketing Management created some content to communicate our message better. For example, they used and repurposed the images and videos from the principal brand. Also, they made culturally relevant content during specific seasons or occasions, like Ramadan. Finally, the team helped us create videos for our social media handles.

What is the team composition?

We had three people on the team. We were mainly in contact with the consultant, who guided us through the communication, content, and strategies. Also, the media specialist managed and looked after all of our daily social media requirements. Lastly, a creative person helped us to repurpose the content.

We found out about them through a friend's recommendation.

How much have you invested in them?

We spent over 250,000 Dirhams (approximately $68,062 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with them from March–December 2021.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We monitored conversions each month for Google Ads. For our social media handles, we focused more on likes, followers, and engagement.

How did Digitally Brand Marketing Management perform from a project management standpoint?

It was very satisfactory. They were always available. We’d struggled with availability with previous agencies, but we didn’t have that problem with Digitally Brand Marketing Management.

The most convenient way to communicate was through WhatsApp; we had a group chat with members of both teams.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The entire team spent a lot of time thoroughly understanding the brand and our consumers. They were great people. Also, they focused on understanding the business in the UAE and the consumers here — that’s how they created excellent strategies and communication.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could have a more skillful Google Ads manager. It’s the only drawback I’d highlight. The person was adequate, but we desired to have a skillful person.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Engage with them at a meaningful and more profound level. Help them understand your brand; they’ll do justice to your requirements and business.

We did a small project with them before handing over the whole mandate.

We engaged with them for influencer marketing, media relations, search and social marketing along with a strong lead and performance management campaign.

What was the team composition?

Led by consultant, we had an account manager, media operations manager and a copywriter as client facing. They also had media relations and video/image editors working behind the scenes for our campaign.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Very good. Our business saw consistent during the pandemic. We saw consistent leads and enquiries from our digital marketing efforts.

Very effective. They were fully involved and worked with us as one team.
