For the 3 years before we worked with Digital Position we primarily acquired customers through networking, referral, Upwork and a bit of organic social content. 

We had been working on automating much of our B2B offer and had the capacity to take on a lot more work, but we did not know where to promote ourselves, how to do so, or how to more effectively convert cold traffic. 

The goal of our engagement with DP was to create more leads through paid ads on Meta, LinkedIn and Reddit, rework our landing pages and site to more clearly communicate our offer and increase our booked call rate, and create email flows and sequences that would maintain ongoing relationships with our larger B2B partners to increase their LTV.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We went from having absolutely no paid presence or leads coming from any kind of cold traffic to a consistent pipeline of dozens of qualified leads per week booking calls. 

Our previous landing pages from social platforms had been converting at less than 1% with super high bounce rates. The pages DP helped us rework with lead magnets and an improved offer converted about 3-5x higher on any given week and we stopped having to worry about constantly fixing our messaging and web design. 

Our close rates went up about 20% because people were more familiar with us and had more trust in us on calls because our ads and social content was addressing more of their pain points. So selling got much easier.

Probably the best communicators we've worked with since starting our business. They were always available to not only respond to problems, but implement solutions, be proactive with testing new tools and offers, and stay ahead of even where we thought we should be.

Stuff wasn't just delivered on time it was always ahead of time or before we even asked for it. Same thing with requests we made for changes to ads, messaging, website stuff, all of it

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Whenever I see a business claim that they're experts on something it kinda makes me question them right off the bat. We've worked with 2 other agencies that made the same claim and they were good for about 1-2 months and getting an intial lift for us, but then we'd just stall again and they couldn't take us to where we actually wanted to get in terms of monthly revenue and leads.

With DP I've felt like we're getting the same quality of work and effort that we got from even before we signed with them, and when we reach points in our growth where i'm not sure what to do or what's best they already know what to do cuz they've been there and done it. 

not having to worry about if the money we're investing in marketing is actually paying off is such a relief because we're a lean team and we'd rather focus on product

We have seen 23% month on month growth for a leather handbag brand we have been working on. On another DTC brand in the fitness space we saw a 579% growth in PPC revenue, 115% growth in SEO traffic and 260% growth in SEO revenue. All of this in a highly competitive space.

Vincero Watches sells premium lifestyle accessories, including watches, sunglasses, eyewear and jewelry to men and women around the globe online, but also in our retail locations in LA and New York.

I’m one of the co-founders and I lead most of the acquisition marketing for the business.

What challenge were you trying to address with Digital Position?

We were struggling to internally grow our search business and find customers via Google, Bing, and non-brand search. Digital Position was brought on to help decrease CPA and introduce new customers.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They provide paid search management across Google, YouTube, Bing, and non-brand search environments. Additionally, they help with keyword research and execute bidding strategies.

At the start, we explained what we were looking for, and Digital Position audited our accounts, going back to our start to see what we’d previously tried. They also identified opportunities to advance and optimize and layer on new strategies for traffic and conversions. After the 1–2-week audit, they presented to our performance team. We liked what we saw and moved forward.

What is the team composition?

Roger (CEO) been very hands on as our main representative. Steven (Co-Owner) has also been very hands on.

They were recommended by a few other brands that had significantly grown from working with them.

We’ve spent around $80,000 directly with Digital Position, not including our ad spend.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Evaluating Digital Position is pretty easy and simple: we measure them against the monthly CPA and ROAS goals we gave them. They’ve increased our acquisition volume MoM while hitting the ROAS goal.

Before signing with them, we spent $20,000–$30,000 on non-brand paid search with a ROAS goal of 1.5 or 1.8. To enhance our growth, we gave Digital Position a ROAS goal of 2x. Even though we’re spending up to $100,000 in seasonal times, they’ve only missed that 2x goal once or twice.

How did Digital Position perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate over a Slack channel daily and have a weekly call. Their team pings us with any problems or adjustments to budget or strategy. Questions are answered within 24 hours, and we’re always kept in the loop. They’ve exceeded expectations, even though we work with multiple vendors across many areas of our business. We’re very happy.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their knowledge of the space and the Google landscape stand out. Their team is at the forefront of search on Google and Bing, including the international arena.

I can’t think of anything. It’s all been really good.

They’re really good at communication. Give them a chance to audit your account and show you what they believe they can do. We get the most by trusting them; we’ve been able to be hands-off with them, and they communicate and execute their strategy. The numbers talk.

I’m the marketing director of It’s Just Lunch, a matchmaking service designed for busy professionals, so I oversee all of our marketing initiatives. We’re an international company serving the US, Canada, Europe, and Australia.

What challenge were you trying to address with Digital Position?

We were pursuing a website refresh project, and our UX design team suggested a domain rollout as part of an improved SEO effort to complement that project.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Before our engagement, we had individual domains for each city that we served, and we brought in Digital Position when our website refresh project was already underway. They evaluated our local domains and completely audited them. Then, they recommended relaunching our site as a single brand domain and presented in depth the benefits and impact that this would have on our business.

After that process, Digital Position spent a lot of time integrating our various websites into a consolidated domain, making sure that we captured all of the existing URLs to accomplish a very smooth relaunch.

I mainly worked with Kyle (SEO Manager) and Roger (Founder & CEO), but I believe that they had more people working on our account. Roger was the person that initially pitched their services and provided us with the proposal, and Kyle handled the day-to-day communication.

We started working with them in April 2021, and they finished their involvement in June 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Comparing pre-launch versus post-launch data, we saw an 80% increase in organic search impressions, a 63% increase in organic search clicks, a 16% increase in average search positioning, and an overall 16% increase in visit-to-lead conversions. Additionally, our user count increased by 27%, and our page views increased by 51%.

How did Digital Position perform from a project management standpoint?

Digital Position did an excellent job. They came into the project very quickly and ramped up extremely fast to ensure that we met our deadlines. They also offered great communication, showing the willingness to hop on calls, discuss with our franchisees, and make presentations to ensure that we all understood the path forward.

Their team was available to answer questions, and they made sure that we identified any critical errors before launching the site. Additionally, their deliverables were awesome, and they were very thorough pre- and post-launch. They also provided us with reports and walked us through what needed to be done to ensure the best possible positioning when Google published our website.

Digital Position was very organized and timely, and they got their work done quickly. They were a great partner, and they looked to do the best for us. We shared spreadsheets through Google Drive, and we communicated via email and phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Digital Position was an amazing team to work with, and they were very personable. They understood the complexity of our project and dialed down the information to make sure that people not familiar with SEO understood the impact that this particular project would have on our business.

I don’t have any constructive feedback for Digital Position. Currently, I’m evaluating how I can bring them on in another capacity because I enjoyed working with them a lot.

Be very clear about your business goals, and bring your pain points to Digital Position’s attention so that they can develop a strategy to help you meet those goals. If you don’t understand SEO, they’ll help you with that as well.
