I'm the CEO of JoyDev LLC, a fintech software development company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Digital Habits?

We needed help with mobile app development.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Digital Habits built an Android app for one of our clients. We first created a roadmap that detailed the development process.

The app's main feature is the ability to add cards and transfer money to other users. It also allows people to pay for utility bills like water and electricity. 

The team continues to work on the app.

What is the team composition?

We work with a project manager, a development lead, two Android developers, a QA specialist, and an analytics expert. The analytics person also did project management.

How did you come to work with Digital Habits?

I met Digital Habits at a conference on fintech products. We then worked with them on a few projects.

How much have you invested with them?

We've spent $200,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project started in December 2020, and it's ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Digital Habits has successfully delivered the app we asked for. 

How did Digital Habits perform from a project management standpoint?

They work using a methodology that combines the waterfall model with scrum. It's been a big challenge to deliver under a strict timeline, but they've managed to do it. 

The Digital Habits team has also done an excellent job adapting to changing requirements. In terms of communication, we use Telegram and Slack. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They do a great job of adjusting to scope changes. Furthermore, the Digital Habits team is very client-oriented and makes sure to implement all our requests and ideas.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could improve their internal communication during the development process. Maybe the project manager could give the team more details about the project timeline.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I recommend them for fintech projects. Be very comfortable with the team — they know what they're doing and will finish the project on time.
