Digital Beaver stepped in and quickly got our project on track. They rebuilt the codebase, moving to Node.js and Nuxt (Vue 3), and assembled a strong development team. They delivered the first stable version, ensuring better performance and maintainability. After the launch, they continued adding new features, improving the UI/UX, and refining the code. Their expertise and commitment made a huge difference in the project’s success.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We rebuilt the codebase in Node.js and Nuxt (Vue 3), delivered the first stable version, improved performance, and completed delayed features. We continue working on new features and UI/UX updates.

I am the CEO of the company. We are a healthcare booking and review platform.

For what projects/services did your company hire Digital Beaver, and what were your goals?

We had technical serious issues with previous platform as it was outdated and oldfashioned. The goal was to have state of the art platform enabling us to reach top market leader position.

We had previous work experience with the team members, and I worked as colleagues with some of them at one of my earlier jobs.

We started working together with the team of Digital Beaver in connection with redesigning our website FoglaljOrvost.hu. An 8-year-old, diversified but outdated system had to be replaced, and we were searching for a team with which we could be significant, long-term partners. The team could operate as a professional development corporation and respond immediately when needed as a small flexible company.

The team consisted of 3 people: One project manager, and two full-stack web developers.

An 8-year-old, diversified but outdated system had to be replaced, and we were searching for a team with which we could be significant, long-term partners. The team could operate as a professional development corporation and respond immediately when needed as a small flexible company.

One of the company's owners did project management, so it's safe to say that we had a special status as a client. The team uses Jira and Confluence for task planning and organization.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The joint project was constructive and exciting for all of us, in which we had to overcome many hurdles together. We got to know them as team players who are professionally prepared, have a high work ethic and keep the customer's needs in mind.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There is always room for improvement; we can learn lessons after every cooperation. For example, if we started over, we would spend more time on project planning to avoid unneeded communication between team members.

Change and totaly renew the Company procurement system. Renew the workflows and the software enviroment.

We had previous work experience with the team members, and I worked as colleagues with some of them at one of my earlier jobs.

We worked with the Digital Beaver team to implement a procurement management system. The project's main goal was to digitize the existing purchasing processes and thus achieve more control and efficiency in management. The team delivered the project through a traditional waterfall method, and the technology of choice was a LAMP stack.

The team consisted of 4 people:

• 1 solution architect
• one project manager
• two full-stack web developers

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The company reduced the cost of software development and support because the previous system vendor handled the development requests at a higher cost level. Additionally, the system allows managers to control procurement requests, download reports, and have clear status information about the budget and deadlines attached to procurement tasks.

The joint project was instructive and exciting for all of us, in which we had to overcome many hurdles together. They are professionally prepared team players with high work ethics and keep the customer's needs in mind.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There is always room for improvement; lessons can be learned after every cooperation. If we started over, it would probably be a better approach to deal with the project within an agile framework and not in the traditional waterfall approach.
