I’m the CEO of Mantle Security, a construction company. We provide turnkey integration of low-voltage and high-tech systems for the multifamily industry. Our company streamlines project management and delivers efficient, customer-focused solutions for owners, developers, and contractors.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Dieseinerdata?

The project was multiple-tiered and comprehensive. We needed our pricing tool replicated and updated in a cloud-based program. We also needed integrated features that synced our software with other programs to enable the ability to upload designs. The software would then quantify and categorize the designs. The final tier was the need to automate a proposal tool that expedited the data entry process of building proposals.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We initially had our pricing tool in Excel, but it maxed out the VB limits. Creating it in Python was the solution. Dieseinerdata created an integration that allowed our third-party design software report to upload and categorize a very large database of parts from multiple vendors. The software would then group the parts into subcategories and quantify their cost, margins, labor, and taxes. The proposal tool would categorize all data into a clean Word document that allowed for any final details prior to saving in PDF. The proposal would then be ready to be sent.

We found Dieseinerdata through an online search. Brian (Founder & CEO) had an extensive history of providing solutions tailored to clients like us. Our initial conversation made it clear that he was an expert in the field and could deliver on our project.

The project lasted from November 2023–November 2024.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Dieseinerdata increased our productivity. Before, writing a proposal could take as many as 45 minutes. After Dieseinerdata built our automated proposal-making web application, we could write a proposal in 45 seconds. That was a 60x efficiency gain. We could also go from design to fully pricing a project in as little as 15 minutes. In the past, it would take an average of 3–4 hours.

We also saw massive time savings, and the data error was almost completely reduced. The design team’s morale was higher.

How did Dieseinerdata perform from a project management standpoint?

From the outset, the Dieseinerdata team applied a clear discovery and scoping phase, aligning business objectives with measurable data goals. They used iterative sprints, enabling frequent stakeholder feedback and timely course corrections, which kept the project flexible yet focused. Overall, their management style balanced technical rigor with business relevance, prioritizing constant stakeholder communication and scalable solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Brian’s down-to-earth and common-sense approach was impressive. He was able to incorporate comprehensive functionality without clutter or unnecessary features or clicks.
