I’m the founder of DW Custom Homes. We build high-end luxury custom homes in Northern Michigan.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with The Diamond Group?

We wanted to work on our overall brand positioning in the market. We felt like our website didn't match visually with the high-quality work we do. We're building $3M and up houses, and the website just didn't give that vibe. So, we wanted to update our brand and then go into advertising and promotion to get more leads coming in so we can get more projects going.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We signed up for The Diamond Group's Moment Program Phase 1. This was a very structured process where they looked at everything we had going on and then gave us a plan for where to go from there. They created website mock-ups for us and showed us what social media would look like. They audited our entire marketing as it existed and showed us what was working and what wasn't. They created a content plan and an ad plan for us.

We loved Phase 1 and then just signed on for Phase 2, where they will work on executing the plan they created.

We worked with 6–10 teammates from The Diamond Group.

How did you come to work with The Diamond Group?

We found them through an online search. We chose them over other options we considered because they were a great culture fit, had good value for the cost, and had company values aligned with ours.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in June 2026, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We are still in Phase 1, the planning phase, so the outcomes are really us having a plan to start executing on going forward. The strategic plan has been invaluable to us.

We are going to rebuild our website, so we will look at traffic to the site over time. We are making a push into content, so SEO results will be key for us. Then, it's ads, so ROI on the ads investment will be important. We have some baseline numbers for traffic and keyword rankings. We will also track lead volume. We want to see how many leads are good leads and become clients.

How did The Diamond Group perform from a project management standpoint?

Overall, they have been excellent. Everything has been on time, and they have really overdelivered on our expectations. We have used agencies in the past, so we were a bit skeptical. The Diamond Group has shown they care about our account and are clearly invested in the work. They seem like they are having fun working on our items and make us feel like we made a great choice with them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They actually really care. We aren't a number at the factory. They really want us to succeed and show up with interesting ideas and insights. They have shown us things about our business that we intuitively kind of knew, but they have been able to show us the real data.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't think of anything. Overall, they are a 10/10.
