What challenge were you trying to address with Devzone Tech?

I hired Devzone Tech to provide development support.

What was the scope of their involvement?

To start, they began with some small tasks but they’re now on an annual contract providing updates and maintenance. Their team handles all of our technical issues that arise on our website. When changing hosts for our site, they helped with the process. Their team changes descriptions, text, and pictures on the site, along with other various details including the contact page. We also aim to do monthly updates on our site. 

What is the team composition?

I have one point of contact, but I’m not sure how many people support the project. 

How did you come to work with Devzone Tech?

I followed a recommendation from one of our partners.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in September 2018 and the engagement is ongoing.

Their work is brilliant. Everything delivered has been high quality and matches our needs. 

How did Devzone Tech perform from a project management standpoint?

Their timing and communication throughout the project have been perfect. Whenever we need a change made, it’s completed the next day after I send an email or call them. If I ask for something, they’re quick to understand what I need and deliver it within the timeline, and we never have to go back and fix it. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Since we’re a small business, the cost is crucial and they deliver great value for the price. They know exactly what I need which makes things much easier, too. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything they’ve done that I’m not happy with; we have a good relationship.

I’m the owner and CEO of RJA Technology, a software development company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Devzone Tech?

I needed a subcontractor for most of my projects.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They’re responsible for implementing the logic for payment microservices. Most of the projects are long-term. 

The first project was a flight reservation system. It’s based on a universal API from Travelport. Another project was a hotel reservation system. Both reservation systems support a different part of content coming from different content providers. 

The reservation system was to serve online travel agencies. Another project was identity management for one of my customers. It was a portal where the customer can log in and perform some various communication. 

They work mostly with frontend development using React.js, and the applications are based in Spring Boot. They do part of the backend using Java.

What is the team composition?

I worked with one person.

How did you come to work with Devzone Tech?

We were colleagues in a previous company I worked at. I was impressed with him and heard good things about him.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in December 2016, and the work is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They’re doing a fine job. I have no complaints. We’re a very good team. Together, we’ve achieved a 400% increase in the work we’ve been able to do.

How did Devzone Tech perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management is good, and deadlines have been met. They even work overtime if needed. They want to keep our customers satisfied. They’re good if there’s a change in scope.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re perfectly capable of doing similar things for other companies.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I’m perfectly fine with their performance.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

You don’t have to have tight control of the project. You only need to give directions and general recommendations, and they will deliver it.

Please describe your company and your position there.

Kamchia Oak is a wood processing factory established more than a decade ago in the village of Dolni Chiflik in the region of Varna, Bulgaria. Main activity of Kamchia Oak is manufacturing of solid oak and ash flooring.

The factory also offers planks, skirting boards, wall panels, edge-glued furniture panels and other products, all made of carefully selected and excellently dried solid wood.

Web site development and SEO service.

What were your goals for this project?

The was to build a simple but nice web site. Later we needed SEO service.

How did you select this vendor?

It was recommended by our partner-advertisement agency.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

They suggested the platform, together with the graphic designer we agreed the structure.

What was the team composition?

The project team had four people, Dev zone tech, graphic designer and two persons from our side.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

This project, the web site gave very big impact to our sales and our image.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The project management was very good organized. It was easy to communicate through email or phone call. We had several live meetings.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They were very concentrated and dedicated to our project.
