Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the co-founder of BBD. We're a marketing company that gives out samples from our partner brands through our app.

For what projects/services did your company hire DevLancer?

We needed their team to develop our mobile app from scratch.

How did you select this firm and what were the deciding factors?

We considered many HR consulting firms online, and looked at their service, product, and feedback from other customers. Finally, we chose this firm to build the app

Describe the project in detail and walk through their service package.

Devlancer developed our cross-platform app from scratch; we didn't have anything laid out already. Their team started by designing the app's UX/UI, and we outlined the requirements for each module. Their team added many modules, including a design, account, and home and game screens modules. Once the modules and design were finalized, Devlancer put together the backend and linked a database to the app.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I had an account manager who worked directly with me, moreover, there were 4 developers working in the background to set up the software.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

The app is now live on the Android and Apple app stores. User satisfaction is our key metric, and we haven't had any major complaints from users. Devlancer delivered a quality app. The project was very successful because their deliverables were good.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I interacted daily with Devlancer's project manager through Skype and email. However, their project management could've been better, but it was still managed well. We used Zoho to track tickets; we still use it now to track bugs.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

In general, our partnership with Devlancer was very pleasant. Unlike other vendors I've worked with, their team didn't transform every issue into a budget change. Instead, they just rectified the issue and made the change we requested.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No one is perfect, and I'd say that Devlancer's communication and understanding of the project requirements could be improved.
