BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

Women Clothing Store is a leading clothing brand that creates one-of-a-kind, modern, bold and elegant clothing items for women. Founded in 2013, our philosophy is to preserve the environment and hone in on the social impact of the fashion industry. And my designation is Assistant Vice President-Marketing.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Design Service Pro?

Our biggest challenge was not having an aesthetically pleasing ecommerce website that portrays our clothing line in the best possible manner. We wanted a captivating ecommerce website with a prominent and vibrant outlook, seamless navigation, clear-cut information on product categories, an efficient search filter, and an easy-to-use interface.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We asked questions upfront to determine whether Designitic’s approach to collaboration is compatible with us or not. We checked out their portfolio and testimonials of past work to understand how diverse their work is and what type of clients they have worked with.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

Our main focus was getting a website that has compelling visuals and a clean overall interface. We shared our branding concept, color schemes, fonts, and products we want on direct display. After that, the design team coordinated throughout the process and shared mockups of what our website would look like. We tweaked around a bit and at the end, we had our idea painted in reality for us.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked with the main UI/UX design team lead and project manager.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We were shocked to have 8421 new users visiting our website on a daily basis. Out of which almost 75% of them completed their checkout, hence, decreasing the cart abandonment rate by a large ratio.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was really easy to communicate with their team and their was no communication barriers between our team and their team.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They offer active customer service, a transparent way of working, and well-planned deliverable timelines.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

These guys are pretty great at what they do. Room for improvement is always there, however, I'm satisfied with the work I have received.
