Ideastag is an online community hub for validating all business ideas, concepts, and products. It is the central hub of all business ideas and a place to connect with other entrepreneurs. In addition to testing out ideas, members get access to free resources, guides, and success stories catered to assisting the idea development stage and their overall business journey.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Design Flow Agency, and what were your goals?

Design Flow was hired to build the online community for Ideastag. The goal was to build a member-only platform for entrepreneurs to connect, chat, and post in the community forum.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

After extensive research and speaking with several agencies, we decided to go with Design Flow because their team understood exactly what we were trying to do, they asked all the right questions and made the best recommendations based on our goals. They also gave us the best price compared to other agencies.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

The scope of work included delivering a community website where members can sign up, create posts, interact with other posts, chat with other members privately, and add them as friends to build relationships. We also needed a help center, blog, and integration with Mailchimp for email marketing. I was very pleased with the planning phase for this project because their team took the time to understand our target market and our goals.

They also made key recommendations and brought some new ideas to the table that we hadn't originally thought of. During the development phase, we were given timely updates on the progress. We also had several meetings to go over prototypes and designs. The delivery was also on point. Their team went through the whole website to make sure all the features work properly.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

The project manager was our main point of contact, but we also had meetings with the web developer and UI/UX designer.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

I was very impressed with the final product. Every detail was on point and the website functioned exactly as we wanted it to. We had an extensive list of features that needed to be developed, and they exceeded our expectations with each of them

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

The project manager was very responsive, took the time to listen to our concerns every time we spoke, and explained the work thoroughly. We used Slack as our main communication channel. The website was delivered in the timeframe we had agreed on.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was most impressed with the time and effort they put into understanding our vision and making sure each detail of the website aligned perfectly with what we are trying to achieve. They were strategic partners in bringing this project to life and made us feel like they were part of our internal team.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I can't think of anything they could've done differently.
