The Interior Designers Association of Bangladesh (IDAB) is a professional organisation dedicated to advancing the interior design profession in Bangladesh. Established to promote excellence, innovation, and ethical practice, IDAB serves as a platform for interior designers, architects, educators, students, manufacturers, and industry stakeholders to collaborate and contribute to the development of the country's built environment. The Association is committed to raising professional standards through education, knowledge sharing, industry engagement, and the recognition of outstanding design achievements.

 It actively encourages creativity, sustainability, responsible design practices, and the exchange of ideas that strengthen Bangladesh's interior design sector. One of IDAB's flagship initiatives is the IDAB Excellence in Interior Design Award, which celebrates exceptional projects across residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, and other design sectors. The award aims to recognise excellence, inspire innovation, and promote international standards within the profession.

Through conferences, seminars, workshops, exhibitions, publications, and professional networking, IDAB continues to support the growth of the design community while fostering stronger collaboration between professionals, academic institutions, government bodies, and the private sector. Design Doctors Studio was engaged to develop the complete visual identity for the Interior Designers Association of Bangladesh (IDAB).

The scope of work included designing the official association logo, the logo for the IDAB Excellence in Interior Design Award, and a comprehensive brand identity system. The team also created event branding, promotional graphics, certificates, social media assets, banners, backdrops, and other marketing materials required for the award programme. Every deliverable was developed with a consistent visual language, ensuring a professional, recognisable, and timeless brand identity that accurately represents the values and vision of IDAB.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Design Doctors Studio successfully delivered all agreed branding and graphic design assets on time and to the required standard. The new visual identity established a consistent and professional brand image for the Interior Designers Association of Bangladesh (IDAB) and the IDAB Excellence in Interior Design Award. The branding has been consistently used across official events, promotional campaigns, digital platforms, publications, certificates, and marketing materials, significantly strengthening the organisation's public image and brand recognition. The project met all key objectives and received positive feedback from our executive committee and stakeholders.
