Although based in Salt Lake City, Utah, Derek is well traveled. Some of his favorite places include the Dominican Republic, Prague, Salzburg, Oahu, the Black Forest and flying around the skies!
When Derek is not in capturing life's beautiful moments, he is spending time with his wife, their 3 children, and their dog, Piper; usually somewhere in the great outdoors.
