Demetriou, Montano & Associates is a firm comprised of former IRS Revenue Officers and Revenue Officer supervisors who specialize in providing tax problem intervention services for a wide variety of businesses and individuals. Founded in 1989 by Jim Demetriou and Mike Montano, DM&A has grown to routinely represent over 200 active clients from its West Los Angeles office.

The firm's success is based on its senior partners' direct involvement with its clients. The primary focus of DM&A's work is representing and protecting clients who have significant unpaid personal or business taxes and/or who have not filed several tax returns. DM&A also does work for tax attorneys, CPAs, EAs and other tax professionals. The firm's expertise is based on its staff of former IRS collection managers, their daily negotiations with IRS tax collection personnel and their inside knowledge of tax collection practices and procedures. DM&A also represents clients before the California Franchise Tax Board, Employment Development Department and Board of Equalization. CPAs, EAs and attorneys who have worked with DM&A over the years continue to recommend our specialized services on an ongoing basis and with complete confidence that their clients will be satisfied with DM&A's knowledgeable staff. When requested, DM&A can also provide former IRS auditors who specialize in resolving unique audit and appellate issues. Although most of DM&A's clients are in Southern California, the firm has clients throughout the country.
