DigitalDesign.NYC we've seen their work with Sqrl and Brick & Portal, and knew they had de design chops and good taste we needed to build this deck.

We wanted to go beyond a simple keynote presentation. So we built a fully interactive Investment Pitch Deck. It lived online and as a build for offline presentations. It presented our data through animated and interactive graphs, as well as video.

4 in total, including the founder. As far as their roles go I don't remember well since they had very flexible roles, which was quite refreshing to be honest.

We got our deliverables, and killed it with the pitch deck. We ended up having an attractive acquisition proposal from one of the investors we pitched. So yes, they're help overdelivered.

As stated earlier, roles were flexible. Everybody had enough domain expertise to float through the roles. That doesn't imply they weren't disciplined or unprofessional. Quite the contrary, the founder, who supervised and coordinated the project was very stern and supremely deadline oriented.

Their good taste. It's hard to come by with a company that can honestly boast that.

I would say, their intense level of commitment could use a bit of heads up. At one point you do feel you work for them since they are so invested in the project.

Anjelika is always very reachable. For example, if something came up today and I needed edits or something, I’d have them this afternoon or evening. It’s not going to be a week. Meeting deadlines is extremely important and that is something I think they excel in. They’re really running a tight ship and are really on it.

They’re able to understand what we’re looking for and deliver on that. My descriptions were very vague and they were still able to really nail it. The team is also very economical. They’re willing to make little changes without killing us on the price, which is huge because I’ve had companies that make small changes and then we get a $500 or $1,000 bill.

I searched for someone to create a website by referencing people. I reached out to Digital Design and got in touch with their founder, who I met in college. They proposed their services, and I decided it was the best way for me to go about setting up my business.
How much have you invested with them?
I spent around $10,000–$12,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from January–March 2019, but I’m always able to reach out to them if I want any updates.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Digital Design produced something that effectively met my expectations and made a difference in the way they presented the site’s aesthetics. I’m proud to present my website, and this is something that I consistently do.
I was also pleasantly surprised that I attained clients who reached out to me merely because they saw my website. We didn’t have any link through a colleague or reference — they were completely anonymous, so to speak. This happened to me on three occasions, and they were decently sized contracts. I couldn’t have planned or expected them in advance.
I didn’t have the aesthetic vision that Digital Design had, so when they produced what I was looking for, I was more than satisfied.
How did DigitalDesign.NYC perform from a project management standpoint?
Everything went well, and they did everything that I requested in a timely manner. They were attentive, and they answered quickly — that was priceless.
I also have regular access to them even after creating the website to get some advice concerning marketing or any big or small questions. I’d recommend them to anyone who wants to create a platform or need some advice with branding.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The price of their services was competitive, and their accessibility was something I appreciated. I might have known their CEO personally, but I didn’t take that for granted — I also appreciated it. I enjoyed the creative vision they put forth, so I was very satisfied with what they produced. It was beyond my expectations.
Are there any areas they could improve?
As far as I’m concerned, there is none. I contacted them for something very specific, and they delivered. It wasn’t the most complex operation.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I’m in Europe and my clientele is spread out, but the Digital Design team is based in New York. I would suggest keeping in mind the cultural and local sensitivities that would make a brand work in a certain space and within certain market circumstances. I know that there’s an international element in their team, so they do presumably have an awareness of that.

I’m a chef and the founder of Chef Antoine Lours. We have a French cuisine restaurant that does food delivery and offers cooking lessons.

What challenge were you trying to address with DigitalDesign.NYC?
We needed help with branding, logo design, web development, and SEO.

What was the scope of their involvement?
The project has different stages.
The first stage was the creation of the branding and logo. After comparing ideas, they created the website. They did both the design and development.
To increase our appearance in search engines, they’re doing all of my SEO and optimizing the site. They used innovative approaches like using a different technology for the backend to get more hits on search engines.
We’re starting to work on an app for users looking for someone to cook for them during COVID-19 times. PPC is also something that we will be working with them on.
Because of the upcoming app, we need to decide together how we want to do the SEO for the app and site and how everything will link. It’s a bit complex because it will be two different companies.
What is the team composition?
The CEO was the key person I was talking to. She helped with a lot of the branding before transferring the information to a technician. It’s a team of 20, and I’ve worked with a few people.
How did you come to work with DigitalDesign.NYC?
They were recommended to me by a company I invested in. I know the CEO, and he spoke to me about DigitalDesign.NYC.
I did a spec of what I wanted, and I asked five different companies, and they were the best in terms of pricing. They also could take care of all of the areas I wanted them to do. DigitalDesign.NYC was definitely the right choice.
How much have you invested with them?
The original investment was $25,000 for the site and branding, but since it’s ongoing, that will get bigger. The app project could be between $50,000–$100,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our ongoing engagement with DigitalDesign.NYC started in September 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The website will be live soon. We tested the logo amongst family and friends, and it was well-received.
The team was on point, respecting all deadlines. The work was organized in a way that any feedback I gave them was taken into account. It’s been a great experience.
How did DigitalDesign.NYC perform from a project management standpoint?
From a project management standpoint, it’s very good. At the beginning of our introductory meeting, we set up deadlines for goals that we wanted to achieve.
We measured the goals at every meeting, and at the end of every deadline. They were meeting the deadlines and were proactive about that. They even suggested we could do more.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The beauty of DigitalDesign.NYC was their reactivity. They met deadlines while being able to do a whole range of activities that I was looking for. This was something I couldn’t find everywhere.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t see any at this point.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Customers must be clear on the deadlines and open up on the end goal of their ventures. DigitalDesign.NYC has the ability to make the whole project work in sync, and they show solutions that you didn’t even imagine.
