I am a entrepreneur and a digital strategy developer. My company is developing a document on digital strategies for medium-sized businesses and companies with state participation.

For what projects/services did your company hire CUP IT, and what were your goals?

Usually my projects demand reengineering business functions or several module or block. I often had to perform routine tasks in the course of my work and needed automation. СUP IT team help me developing mobile app for internal usage. Through this app executing my business process will fastest and productively.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I chose IT teams with proven work experience. It was also important that the project be completed within 1 year.

CUP IT team used modern technologies as Postgres, Python, Kafka for backend. And React Native for UI. CUP IT team sent me mockup of future prototype in a last week. Later their project manager teamwise system analyst identified requirements. All developing process was divided on 8 sprints.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Our communication was with their team including PM, BA, 2 frontend developers, 2 backend developers and team lead.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The application allowed me to free up about two hours of free time, which was previously spent inefficiently on solving similar and similar tasks. We planned to finish this project within 12 months but finally it took us 9 months.

We used follow communication tools: Microsoft Teams, Skype, Slack, email, Jira, Confluence

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are quick to respond and provide answers to my questions. The unique part I suppose that all tech specialists are interchangeable, we were sure that nothing can influence at the end result.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

In my opinion no, everything was done professionally.

We decided to hire CUP IT team to develop an online. car configurator for one of our major customer

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

CUP IT team has accomplished the similar work for our partners before. It was also important that the project should be finished within 4 months. At first we contacted their project manager and he explained us in details each step of the process, he made a roadmap for us with the final price and we decided to try collaboration with CUP IT.

They used WordPress for the corporate software and confluence system. Project manager from their side was always open for communication and all issues were solved very fast. CUP IT team used such technologies as Vue, Python, Django, Celery and Redis. First of all we filled in their technical specification with desired colors, references (what we like and we don't want to see). scripts etc,. CUP IT sent us first draft of our software in a week. Later step by step we continued our project. There were 2 releases, 6 sprints and we were informed about each of them.

Our main communication was with their PM, but there were 5 guys in his team including 2 front end developers. 2 back end developers, 1 QA engineer and team lead.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We planned to finish this project within 4 months but finally it took us 3 months. Everything was great, all modules were acting promptly and in one month more we got feedback from our students that now they can find any information with the help of 2 clicks in our confluence system, and they liked our corporate software.

As I've told before communication was mostly with their PM. Communication tools that we used were Slack, Zoom, Google meet and email.

Their PM is really a great guy, he always had answers on all our questions. All their tech specialists were interchangeable. We were sure that nothing could badly influence the end result.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I think that no, everything was done correct.
